No guessing what the title is referring to. The Spotted Cow probably fits into the top ten of country pub names that are dotted around the UK and Channel Islands. I am aware of all the attention that this ‘new-age philosophy’ is attracting. Holly is a seven-year-old, black shorthaired female. I originally acquired her from a Cat Protection organisation when she was about three. Her previous owner(s) must have been crazy to give her up. The usual excuses apply: moving to where pets are not allowed; a new baby to the family, so the pet goes; owner gets a new partner who doesn’t like animals etc. Spare me please!

There are three basic strains of ’flu. They are catagorized as A, B or C, A being the most dangerous. Thousands of people die from these strains every year, and depending on the condition of that person, even C could prove a killer. I don’t have the statistics of these deaths or even the geographical location. To be honest, I’m not sure that they even exist as specific deaths related to the category of influenza.
