I found this posting on ATS explaining and giving links to back themselves up how currently across the planet, people are starting to get fed up with all our governments stance on the economy, corruption being seen as a good way to behave, the environment and police brutality.In response protest, riots and demonstrations have started across the globe and are currently being held in 19-23 countrys.

I think that there is something waking up inside people showing them that now is the time to stand up for what they believe in and I believe that this is only the beginning.

US troops to be used to quell riots and /bank runs/? Oh dear, imagine all those people queuing up to get their money out of their accounts suddenly being stopped from doing so by US military personnel. Great way to /prevent/ rioting and civil unrest. (/sarcasm)

Also, no riots or protests in the UK. It's because we in the UK are not prone to outbursts of civil unrest unless thoroughly provoked. Until then, we simply glare and frown. There's a lot of creased eyebrows around. Haven't seen any major politician or bankers out in the open in yonks...

you're right. ive noticed this too.

i'm quite proud of the thai people though, they've shown their government and the rest of the world the power of the people is a force to be reckoned with. the govt serves the people, not the other way around.
