Saviors Of Earth

The Unification Epicenter of True Lightworkers

Hey all,

I was just watching a favourite TV show of mine, that had this haunting/stirring bit of music in it. "Google is you friend" allowed me to track it down, and it was a piano piece called metamorphosis one - originally composed by Phillip Glass.

I immediately went to ITunes and downloaded it (not a plug by the way - no way affiliated with artist or relative or pet dog). This piece of music just stirs deep within my soul, and I felt compelled to share that with you here.

It has made me think of other songs that affect me similarly, and I thought perhaps we could start a thread of music/songs that affect others here similarly - seeing we are surely of like minds/souls in many ways. I would be very interested to see your suggestions (commercial or free or whatever they happen to be).

A couple of others that I really get lost in are Mad World by Gary Jules or even Frozen by Madonna.

Hey Duff,

Interesting that you should speak of Philip Glass. I love his work alot. Check out his "Low Symphony, if you like Metamorphosis.

Speaking of, about ten years ago I did an orchestral transcription of Metamorphosis One. I should dig it out, clean it up, and post the thing.

Yeah folks, Philip Glass rocks. DL anything you can find by him. He's an amazing minimalist composer. :)

Will do, and PLEASE do!!!!

A song which really resonates with me at the moment is Yeha Noha by Enigma. And most other Enigma songs too! But especially this one.

Love and light,
Nina
Is it true that enigma did some of the music for the matrix? I think it was called children of zion.
Telepopmusik - Into Everything / Hollywood on my Toothpaste / Anyway

I see who I should be
I don't see myself when I look in your eyes
Thank God for that"

Keane - Spiralling
"I fashioned you From jewels and stone
I made you In the image of myself
I gave you Everything you wanted
So you would never know Anything else

But everytime I reach for you
You slip Through my fingers
Into cold sunlight
Laughing at the things That I had planned
The map of my world gets Smaller as I sit here
Pulling at the loose Threads now"

Oh yeah - Enigma is good stuff - haven't listened to their stuff in a while. This has prompted me to remember one of my all time favourites - Boadicea by Enya. Check it out at below URL if you haven't heard it before

Enya - book of days just hits the spot.
Anael is just superior. She sings lyrics written and composed by Bradfield. You never get tired to listen to them.
