Acceptance of self

The process of human maturity, psychological growth and progression of spiritual life, allows evolution in the pathways of acceptance of self growth through experiences which lead us to acceptance in life, and will eventually allow key understandings to present itself again and again till the lesson is learnt and allowed fully within the human consciousness.

Acceptance is an essential and profound wisdom... It consists of a gift-both-an arduous task that can take us a long time to learn and exercise, even years.

Acceptance of oneself is a virtue that must be exercised in all of our personal reality therefore physical, psychological, spiritual capacities and limits, such as personal history, circumstances, relationships and linkages which forged our identity as well as wounds, talents, errors and growth. In the end, everything we are and what are not must eventually be taken on and accepted.

No love can be formed in its true nature unless you open yourself up to true love for self. I do not mean egocentric untrue version of love for self, yet I am sharing the underlining capacity that exists within self, that allows the identification of true love within self, which must be further understood in learning of self growth.

Without that initial love to ourselves, we cannot and will not be able to truly love all creation nor others. Some people cannot share love for others because of not been able to find true love within themselves. The love of others helps us to purify our and recognise our own personal love. That way we don’t remain or become self-centred.

Sometimes our own lack of acceptance within others is related to projections of our very own fears, mistakes, failures and personal defects. What resist to see in others, is what we reject ourselves and vice versa. Others are a "mirror" which is a personal projection of our own unconscious self.

There are many who confuse love of another with contracts of permanent change. As if it was their duty to conform within our own image and likeness according to our own personal form and mannerisms. This is not true love, yet we are trying to seek and find our true selves within others.

Only love can change us. If anything needs to be changed. If you are not loved, others will feel required to change their personal formula to transcend themselves to your acceptance of behaviour which will only last temporarily, but everything will eventually transcend back as before over time of personal recognition of finding their personal true love.

Indeed one changes very little in life. The essence of self remains faithful to what self is. The reason for this is because, essence never changes and that acceptance is the foundation of all growth.
