Bizarre weather in SE QLD

Today, 23rd Sept 2009, much of the east coast on Australia has experienced a dust storm, with severe winds and dust brought in from the center of Australia. We do experience these storm from time to time but this is the worst I have ever seen and what is bizarre, is that usually during these storms, the sun appears as a big yellow/orange ball, but not this time, it is vibrant white and it looks like the moon. You can look at it and it relection is a vibrant blue ball on glass, car windows etc. How cool is that??? I have never ever seen anything like it....... Pat
