The choice of time for this event is based on two converging phenomena of a cosmic nature. One is that in the Mayan calendar this is a great opportunity to make a commitment to a new way of being based on unity consciousness. This may be seen as a passport to the new world of 2012. Another is that it coincides with the passage of the comet Elenin between the earth and the sun.
