Palo Alto plane crash kills three Tesla Motors employees: report

All three passengers of a plane that crashed just before 8 this morning in East Palo Alto, California are dead, reports are saying.

The plane, a small Cessna, hit a house and three cars, but no injuries on the ground have been reported.

It had just left Palo Alto airport and was heading for Hawthorne Municipal airport in Los Angeles County.

KTVU TV's website is reporting that the dead were employees of Tesla Motors, the electric car company, including a "high-ranking official." Their names have not been released.
