this is a little poem, given to me from a friend to pass on to brothers in heart and arms.
learn to be quiet

you need not do anything. remain sitting at your table and listen. you need not even listen, just wait.
you need not even wait, just learn to be quiet, still and solitary.
and the world will freely offer itself to you unmasked. it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
everything is based on mind, is lead by mind and manifested by mind. if you speak an act with a pure mind, happiness will follow you.
believe nothing.
no matter where you read it.
no matter who said it.
no matter if i said it.
only after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of all, then accept it and live up to it.
