This ancient technology destroyed an airport security system‏

The airport’s security monitors flickered and died just
as Michael Tellinger’s suitcase passed through the
conveyor belt checkpoint.

 

“Sir, we need you to come with us NOW,” growled the
armed security officer as he and his colleagues
quickly surrounded the startled researcher.

 

But when the officers opened Tellinger’s bag, all they
could find was a cone-shaped stone he had taken
from an excavation site in South Africa.  

According to Tellinger, advanced technology doesn’t
always look advanced.

 

In fact in some cases, it’s nothing more than a
peculiar looking stone.
