The Unification Epicenter of True Lightworkers
Article by Reiki Master Sunetra Dasgupta
Since the very first level we have learned Reiki is a universal energy, and we are the channels. So what does it exactly mean? In lay man terms we become channel to the purest positive energy which surrounds us. Since it is an external energy, our energy does not get used up, hence after self healing or healing others, we do not feel tired or drained out but refreshed as a lot of healing happens in our body.
As we do self healing, by giving Reiki to our minor and major chakras, starting from head to toe, with time, our chakras are neither blocked nor over active, they are open and balanced, hence keeping our life smooth be it physical, emotional or situational.
There are many ways to clean our karmas with Reiki, call upon the angels, or simple karma clearing, etc. When we erase our negative karmas, all the problems in the present and in the future get removed, as the karma related to the issues is nullified and hence our life is automatically better!
We all have a few psychic abilities, which are dormant as we do not know of their existence. In Reiki as we become more aware of our own selves and others, we also become aware of the gifts we have and we can fine tune them. For ex: My teacher Ananya Sen was always a Clair cognizant but her ability improved by bounds when she came into the practice. My clairvoyance improved, and I am also now Clairsentient, a power which I developed after I came into this practice.
Reiki always shields us from negative people and situation. It will always fizzle out relations who do not serve any purpose to us, also will remove all frenemies and people from our life who do not mean well or are not good for us. A friend of mine was in a toxic relation for a very long time, she learned Reiki to heal her relationship, but within 21 days the person left her, and she did not even feel bad about it, as she finally felt free!
As a Reiki practitioner, we develop the wisdom to understand when a sign from the Universe is shown to us, it may be a name on a bill board, or someone says something out of the blue and you know the message is for you, or repetition of numbers in a certain sequence etc. They generally give us sign when we have asked a question, or warn us from some kind of danger, or just to let us know when we are about to cross an important thresh hold in our life.
In 2013-14, I was working for a statistical firm, where most of our clients were students, who wanted to get statistical analysis done for their project, but most of the students were from one particular college, and within a year I landed up working for the same college as a professor. I realized it was Universe way of telling me, where my next step was.
Aura is the bio magnetic energy field which surrounds our physical body. Our auras interact with each other, hence the quote “Love at first sight.” As it’s our auras first fall in love with each other, than us! As we interact with a lot of people every day, we may take in a lot of negativity from others or just in general our aura can get polluted, when our aura gets polluted, we tend to attract negative people and situations in life, a regular aura brushing with Reiki shall do wonders.
Cords again are not good for people; they tend to restrict us from moving ahead. Cord can be between people, karmic, spiritual etc. Regular cord removal helps us to forge better relationships, with people and move ahead in our life. We can remove cords with Reiki or calling upon Archangel Michael.
Most of our wishes get manifested in Reiki, provided it is for our highest good. It helps us in all walks of life, be it improvement of health, getting a job, expanding business, or day to day life. You ask and give healing; Reiki will fulfill it for you.
The beautiful distance healing symbols help us to connect with people in the physical as well as the spiritual plane. We can give healing by connecting to a person who is in a different place, and can also connect to higher beings like Archangel Michael or any Ascended Master to guide you for healing, or you can also connect to lower beings like the souls who are not transited, to help them reach the light.
Reiki is not a religion; it is a way of life. It helps us to understand our needs and wants, and develop a compassion outlook towards the world and ourselves. Instead of giving its own point of view, Reiki helps us discover our own point of view. It just asks to have faith and trust on ourselves and our life become much meaningful and help us to understand the finer nuances which happen for our good.
“Nothing ever truly dies. The Universe wastes nothing. Everything is simply transformed.”
Death is not an end; it is a new beginning for us. We realize that our body is just temporary it is our soul which is the real existence. When we pass away, we simply leave this human form of body to maybe go into another one and learn new life lessons and become more mature as a soul, and for those who have already learned their life lessons help others as a spirit guide or a guardian angel and guide them to the right direction. The only mere changes are the change of responsibility.
The best part about Reiki is, you do not need any rock salt or crystal to heal. Of course we can use them as addition, to boost our healing, but sometimes when we are travelling, we can just give healing through a chi ball or a touch or just plain send Reiki through our mind to the certain situation. Reiki cannot get handier than this!
Please feel free to add what are the other things that you think practicing Reiki is the coolest thing!

Chi Ball
The Chi Ball is one of the most simple and
effective ways of sending healing energy and
attunements. It is simple because it is your energy
that forms the Chi Ball.
Your Light that fills the Chi Ball. You control the
energy that goes directly into the Chi Ball. Your
intent creates the color, the size; and everything
that goes into it. You send it on your breath and
energy.
The Chi Ball is created by you, and your energy;
yet it safely helps you to send energy, since once
the energy is in the Chi Ball, you disconnect from
the Chi Ball and it stands on its own—completely
energized and ready to be sent.
To make the Chi Ball, we need to prepare
ourselves—by learning what centering is.
Centering is a simple way to generate energy
without draining yourself. It is creating a power
point in your own being that you can always rely
on to energize yourself and help you eventually
form the Chi Ball without stress or strain.
Centering is the central power of martial arts.
It develops Chi—the life force itself.
First and foremost, shield yourself with a Ball of
White Light to protect you and the energy you are
about to ‘build’ for yourself.
Sit in a chain with feet on the floor. Look at your
hands—palms up. See them, the lines that create
the skin, the fingers, and the palms. Now take
your hands and place them at just chest level,
comfortable for you to work easily with during
this exercise.
Take your hands and face them palms at each
other. Hold them close to each other and feel the
energy, the heat as it builds. Now slowly bring
your hands apart to about 4 inches from one
another and allow the energy to travel with the
motion. The energy is warm, and you can feel it
build between your two palms. Mold that energy
with your hands to form a ball—round and
complete.
With your hands in this position, please take a
breath through your nose and breath with your
diaphragm—deep and strong. Carry the breath to
your solar plexus and draw it deep. Now exhale
through your mouth, quietly; and evenly. Take two
more breaths. On the fourth breath, you will now
direct the exhale to the palms and blow your
breath into the space between your hands.
You are giving the space/ball between your hands
your Light Energy. Feel the energy go to the
space between your hands. Feel a ‘heartbeat’ in
the space between your hands, and take a
moment and feel that energy build with gentle
power.
Allow your hands to form a ball around the energy
you have created. Direct your hands down to your
Solar Plexus. Gently push this ball of energy into
your Solar Plexus. Feel the ball move within you
and feel the ball beat gently within you.
Take a deep breath and direct the ball’s energy to
flow all through your body from head to foot. Feel
the energy flow through you. This energy will be
the energy for creation of the Chi Ball. This
energy is the basis for your ability to center.
Centering is two fold. One is for energy sending
and the other is to provide you with power. You
may ask, ‘why power?’ In this day and age, stress
and anxiety is everywhere. If you remain centered,
you remain calm.
All you need to do to activate this centering
energy is to touch your Solar Plexus! Try it! You
will feel a gentle surge of energy move through
you that will go to that place of anxiety and gently
create calm.
It is a place of power that you can move
anywhere through your body to heal and calm
anxiety or pain. This energy is permanent. It will
never leave you, and will serve you anytime you
need it.
Let’s look at healing and attunement energy
with the Chi Ball.
Why use a Chi Ball? It is sending pure energy.
Once it is in the Chi Ball, it is cleansed and
purified and made perfect. Chi energy is perfect
energy. It also protects you and the recipient of
the energy from any negative forces in the
sending and receiving of it.
To make the Chi Ball, first surround yourself with
a ball of White Light. Call in your guides, healing
guides and angels to be there with you. Now is
the time to gently touch your Solar Plexus to give
it the signal that you are activating the centering
energy.
Then simply place your hands palms facing and
form a ball of energy. Mold it with your hands to
any size you wish.
First, give it color. For instance, if you wish to
have a gold Chi Ball with a white stripe around the
middle; speak to the Chi Ball and intent the Ball to
be gold and have a white stripe around the
middle.
Then take that deep breath through your nose and
blow the breath out the mouth into the ball you
have just formed with your hands.
Now it is time to fill it with energy. ‘Open the ball’
with your dominate hand, and then intent exactly
what you wish to go into the ball—the person’s
name, the amount of time it is to be used; and any
other pertinent information needed to intent the
attunement.
Take a deep breath and blow that energy into the
ball. Now ‘close the ball’ with your dominant
hand, and take a deep breath, and intent the ball
on your breath to go to the recipient of the Chi
Ball.
Take another breath and allow it to blow the Chi
Ball off to the person you are sending it to, and
bless it and send it on its way.
If you have more than one attunement to send,
you may send two Chi Balls, with separate
attunements.
I am user specific about all Chi Balls I send, and I
indicate to the client exactly what to expect and
how long the Chi Balls will be there for use as
needed.
After you have sent the Chi Ball, take a cleansing
breath and thank your guides and angels for their
assistance and support.
To ‘pick up’ an attunement from a Chi Ball is as
simple as intent. Shield yourself with a ball of
White Light, call in your healing/attunement
guides/angels, and then call in the Chi Ball by
intent. ‘I now call in the Chi Ball which carried
the_________(healing energy/attunement) from
_______. I accept this Chi Ball now with Love,
Light, peace and gratitude.’ Visualize the ball
directly in front of you, and open it with your
dominant hand. Then intent the attunement out of
the Chi Ball. It will pour out of the Chi Ball and
begin to attune/bring energy of healing to you.
After the attunement/healing session, thank your
guides/angels for their help, close the Chi Ball
and if it is there for specific periods of time to use,
indicate that you will use it later.
It will stay where you put it until the next session.
If you are through with the energy within it, all you
do is take a breath and send the Chi Ball into the
Light to be used to help heal, bring peace and
help the world and universe in this time of need.
This is the key to the power of healing and
sending energy: reciprocity—giving and
receiving. Sharing with intent.
Chi Balls can be sent with healing energy within
them. Send them exactly the same way, but intent
the healing energy used, the name of the person,
the location/current information/ illness to be
treated.
What you have done is two steps.
You have activated energy of great power inside
of you to help you maintain good spiritual health,
peace and serenity; and you have given yourself a
tool of great assistance to send energy and
attunements without absorbing any negative
energy in the process.
You provide yourself with proper shielding,
maintain compassionate use of energy, and will
provide powerful attunements and healing to
those you serve in your work/practice.
Be blessed in your work and be blessed in your
life.
Reiki is described as a holistic therapy, which brings about healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. The belief is that the energy will flow through the practitioner’s hands whenever the hands are placed on, or held near a potential recipient. Some teachings stress the importance of the practitioner’s intention or presence in this process, while others claim that the energy is drawn by the recipient’s need to activate or enhance the natural healing processes. (I believe both are true). Furthermore, the belief is that the energy is “intelligent”, meaning that the Reiki knows where to heal, even if a practitioner’s hands are not present in the specific area. This is Universal attention.
Learning to work with Reiki gives you the ability to connect with an inexhaustible source of energy, which can be used to induce a healing effect. Anyone can gain access to this energy by means of an attunement process carried out by a Reiki Master. (I personally believe that anyone can gain access to this energy, because it is Universal. No one holds control or a patent to energy).
Consider these suggestions for bringing reiki energy into your life:
Just for today
1. Life unfolds in the present. But so often, we let the present slip away, allowing time to rush past unobserved and unseized, and squandering the precious seconds of our lives as we worry about the future and ruminate about what’s past. “We’re living in a world that contributes in a major way to mental fragmentation, disintegration, distraction, decoherence,” says Buddhist scholar B. Alan Wallace. We’re always doing something, and we allow little time to practice stillness and calm. When we are at work, we fantasize about being on vacation; on vacation, we worry about the work piling up on our desks. We dwell on intrusive memories of the past or fret about what may or may not happen in the future. We don’t appreciate the living present because our “monkey minds,” as Buddhists call them, vault from thought to thought like monkeys swinging from tree to tree.
2. Most of us don’t undertake our thoughts in awareness. Rather, our thoughts control us. “Ordinary thoughts course through our mind like a deafening waterfall,” writes Jon Kabat-Zinn, the biomedical scientist who introduced meditation into mainstream medicine. In order to feel more in control of our minds and our lives, to find the sense of balance that eludes us, we need to step out of this current, to pause, and, as Kabat-Zinn puts it, to “rest in stillness – to stop doing and focus on just being.”
3. We need to live more in the moment. Living in the moment, also called mindfulness, is a state of active, open, intentional attention on the present. When you become mindful, you realize that you are not your thoughts; you become an observer of your thoughts from moment to moment without judging them. Mindfulness involves being with your thoughts as they are, neither grasping at them nor pushing them away. Instead of letting your life go by without living it, you awaken to experience.
4. Cultivating a nonjudgmental awareness of the present bestows a host of benefits. Mindfulness reduces stress, boosts immune functioning, reduces chronic pain, lowers blood pressure, and helps patients cope with cancer. By alleviating stress, spending a few minutes a day actively focusing on living in the moment reduces the risk of heart disease.
5. Mindful people are happier, more exuberant, more empathetic, and more secure. They have higher self-esteem and are more accepting of their own weaknesses. Anchoring awareness in the here and now reduces the kinds of impulsivity and reactivity that underlie depression, binge eating, and attention problems. Mindful people can hear negative feedback without feeling threatened. They fight less with their romantic partners and are more accommodating and less defensive. As a result, mindful couples have more satisfying relationships.
6. Mindfulness is at the root of Buddhism, Taoism, and many Native American traditions, not to mention yoga. It’s why Thoreau went to Walden Pond; it’s what Emerson and Whitman wrote about in their essays and poems. “Everyone agrees it’s important to live in the moment, but the problem is how,” says Ellen Langer, a psychologist at Harvard and author of Mindfulness. “When people are not in the moment, they’re not there to know that they’re not there.” Overriding the distraction reflex and awakening to the present takes intentionality and practice.
7. Living in the moment involves a profound paradox: You can’t pursue it for its benefits. That’s because the expectation of reward launches a future oriented mindset, which subverts the entire process. Instead, you just have to trust that the rewards will come. There are many paths to mindfulness and at the core of each is a paradox. Ironically, letting go of what you want is the only way to get it.

The Medicine Buddha is the Buddha of healing. Historically, it is believed helpful to meditate on his image and to chant his mantra with the desire to alleviate suffering and attain enlightenment. It is thought that Dr. Mikao Usui, the originator of Reiki in its modern form, may have meditated on the Buddhist sutra of the Healing Buddha as part of his efforts to rediscover the original healing practices of the Buddha. The Medicine Buddha is an enlightened being who has unbiased compassion for all living beings. He protects living beings from physical and mental illnesses and other dangers and obstacles, and helps them to eradicate the three poisons-attachment, hatred, and ignorance-which are the source of all sickness and danger. He is the Buddha Doctor.
This attunement connects you to Medicine Buddha and enables you to use Medicine Buddha Reiki to heal yourself and others.

What does Chakra have to do with Quantum Jumping? This is our week’s topic. I will demonstrate how to use the Crown Chakra and the Third Eye Chakra to energize a glass of water. A lot of people do not know the uses of energizing a glass of water and I wanted to share them with you today.
I hope you enjoy this one – more importantly, try it
Astral Projection Team
Busy as we are, we are doing ourselves a huge favor if we take the time to stop and check in with our Chakras every once in a while. Once we make the connection between our chakras and the body parts that they serve, it becomes easier. Our Chakras are portals of energy in our bodies, from which we derive cosmic nourishment and dispel lesser frequencies, so that our body systems run efficiently. Chakras are, in effect, the heavens working through us every moment of our lives. Becoming familiar with the relationship between the chakras and the body is increases our ability to feel this energy.
The Root Chakra is located along the spine at the tailbone. It corresponds to our connection with the Earth, with survival and with our basic human instincts. The Root Chakra is associated with the legs, feet, hips and sexual organs of the body. Male sexual drive operates from the Root Chakra.
The Sacral Chakra is rooted in the belly. It sits along the spine, two inches below your navel. It encourages creativity and emotions, and it is the center of our self-worth. It connects how we relate to others and how we feel about ourselves in social situations. It send vital cosmic energy to the intestines, the bladder, and the kidney. Women’s sexual desires and motivations also operate from the second chakra, which is why women tend to be more emotionally driven in sexual situations as compared to men, who operate from their Root Chakra.
The area along the spine that sits two inches below the breastbone is energetically dominated by your Solar Plexus Chakra. It connects to the stomach and it’s related organs; pancreas, liver, kidneys and small intestine. Each of these organs is fed though this energy center; and is intimately emotionally connected with the ego; our sense of who we are and what we can accomplish in this world. People who display a lot of personal power and charisma are operating successfully from this chakra.
Traveling up the spine to the center of your chest, you will find the Heart Chakra. This is the easiest for most people to feel and recognize; the heartbeat focuses our attention, as do the feelings of love and compassion associated with this very powerful chakra. Physically, this energy center is connected with the heart and lungs. The circulatory system in general is stabilized and fed by energies from the Heart Chakra. We could say that because the heart is the most electromagnetic part of our body that this chakra is one of the most powerful.
The fifth chakra is the Throat Chakra, located throughout the area of the throat in the body. This chakra regulates energies associated with communication through voice, thought or writing. It is where we learn to speak or not to speak our truth. Physically, we feel the effects of the Throat Chakra the most intensely in our neck and ears. This energy center also regulates the energy coming into the thyroid gland.
Looking deeper into the relationship of the high vibration chakras to our lower frequency body systems, we find the Brow Chakra, located between the eyes on the forehead. This is the location of the third eye. This chakra is a portal for spirituality and intuition. It is the seat of psychic abilities. Dreams enter through this energy doorway. This chakra is connected to the eyes and the brain. It also stimulates the lymphatic system. This center of activity transmutes a higher vibration than the lower chakras, leading to the mystical side of experience more readily.
Our Crown Chakra is the finest, highest wheel of the major chakra system. This chakra opens us up to enlightenment, spiritual union with the Divine, and powerful energy and awareness. This chakra is the seat of our connection with all that is. It does not correspond to a set of body parts so much as it adds cohesiveness and connection to all of the body parts with energy and grace.
Stopping occasionally to connect our bodies to our energy centers in our minds allows us to step up a notch in our understanding and to get used to how each chakra feels in our bodies; in our lives. Then we can move on to unhinging the blockages that may be formulating there, slowing our progress physically and spiritually.
