Gathering the information here into a Powerpoint presentation in multiple languages

Hi guys, I've chanced upon a very good suggestion by Ian at the "Oprah needs to interview Brad" thread and I wish to bring it up as a thread and hear your opinions. :)

I think its a wonderful idea and tool to spread to anyone new to this, or as a sharing opportunity with like-minded groups in our local and online area.

What say you?

Above msgs gave me an idea, someone should gatter all information we have discussed in a power point format (something like that) once new time approaches there will be lots of explanations to be given, and a guide it´s always important for "lectures"

If we need it and time allows me, I can translate material to my native language Spanish and probably other people can do the same to their languages...

Sounds like a very good idea. Better see if brad's up for it though. And when disclosure happens, what stoping us from teaching all of our confused family friends and neighbors everyone. I'm sure when disclosure happens may of us will rise to the occasion and help out. Mayb

It is a great idea. We of the side of latin america as jfmorenon,andrepaz, myself and the others in the SoE Sudamerica group can do translations into spanish language and put them in blogs or another way of publishing

We can use google translate too.. I know its not 100% accurate maybe 80% but its a good starting point to translate in about any language..

Also people have to PAY to use powerpoint (ok there is a free powerpoint viewer) but we would need some people to create the files with a powerpoint licence.. From my own experience when I can avoid using microsoft products, I do, because they have to many open doors for viruses.. Also does powerpoint exist for Mac and Linux?

There is PDFs too that we can present information on. It won't open any Microsoft programs so it would be openable on all platforms. The viewer just has to download Acrobat Reader which is free online :)

About the license for Power point, we do not need one because we don't need to use microsoft products, as Adam said, Openoffice which includes power point (called Openoffice Impress) is available for windows, mac and linux users and it's totaly free, just dowload at openoffice.org.
About viruses Ted, did you know that Linux which is free OS doesn't have that problem, I have linux and I'm not kidding, I don't have anti virus and I have never gotten any virus and I surf the web and download music, docs, videos, etc, the reason is that 99% on the virus are created and work only for windows systems. Did I mention that Linux never crash and is user friendly just like XP or Vista with slight differences?... why is not so popular.... well..... they don't have 60 billion in the bank and they don't manipulate media, goverments and pc production companies.

So, I would say let's do it!!!
Suggestion:
I think we should start slow, we don't want to do everything at the same time and lost track of it, so we can start slow with the first project (chapter) and see how it goes and traslate in as many languages as we can.
So, what do you say guys?
