I would guess that that crop he is walking through would be up to chest or neck high on a normal adult. This would make him 8 - 9 feet, which fits numerous descriptions of shy blond giants taking an interest in crop circles. They appear to fear humans and run away when approached. They are also known to use nasty 'mind control' weapons to deter the interested.
