I don't think it was set up, this is the UK and weird things like this happen now and again. Anyway it wasn't a news crew that took the footage it was someone with their phone. I think the news editor blurred out her face for fear the robbers might have taken revenge (no honour amongst thieves these days). In my opinion if a jewel thief gets bitch slapped by an old lady, revenge would make them even more foolish, petty and pathetic.
