Thank you so much for sharing Trudy, this is truly the way to live, not for money, not for glory, not for having power over others, but to revel in the shear joy of your own special abilities. He weaves i picture, and awesome and breathtaking, yet short lived picture on sand, the tide comes in and slowly but surely erases the artwork, the onlookers gasp, it's all going to be destroyed, they think, what was the point? they might think, but the true art is not the breathtaking picture, it's deep within him.

So what if the sea wipes it out, tomorrow he'll just create a new one.

"Joy is in the construction, not the constructed", (Kal'narred, a moment ago).

After all, what are we but grains of sand? One day we'll be swept up by the ocean of time (or time/space) and all traces of our existence will eventually be purged. So shouldn't we make the most out of our brief lives and use our God given abilities and revel in the shear joy of life. In a thousand years time who will remember your efforts, who will remember how much money you saved? who will remember how much pointless stuff you collected trying to keep yourself or your family distracted? The time is now don't waste it.
