The holy brothers were telling us April 17th 2013, a 'doomsday' type event. The Mayan calander does not truly stand apart from esoteric Churchianity because both, all our religions and mysteriums stand upon the shoulders of older knowledge and light. There are two events linked that seem to be happening. Two great bodies are passing through the Sun's planetary equater. The europeans perhaps started out with the 'doomsday' planet x perihilion, which is in fact the big brother of the coming blue star Nemesis. The second event is the Mayan galactic alignment caper, 21/12/2012.
