I'm right there with you P, I spent a couple of nights in a hut in a place near Glasgow called Carbeth, it's in a thick forest with hundred year old oaks and next to the Campsie mountain range. People only have power there if they have a generator. Anyway it was November and freezing. I didn't have an adequate sleeping bag, but my space blanket wrapped around me in my £10 sleeping bag kept me toasty (if a little sweat soaked in the morning). At night we had a fire outside (no streetlights so it was pitch black at night, couldn't see your hand in front of your face), we sang songs, told stories, made an attempt to cook with the fire only to burn food on the outside leaving the middle raw lol.
But I tell you, we had such a good time and it's like your mind becomes un-cluttered with meaningless concerns and there's none of the different thoughts racing through your mind too fast to be contemplated.
It's like a vale has been lifted from your eyes, ears and mind that your thoughts become clear for the first time, you can concentrate better, you actually listen to other people more and realise how little you listened to people before (you know you make noises like "yeh, uhu, mm" and nod your head as if you are listening, but your mind is elsewhere).
Anyone else who knows what I'm talking about say "I KNOW . . . RIGHT?"

Gerd, I also make music with my computer and a whole lot of other gear that would be screwed. That's why I'm making every effort to produce my best work this year. I don't think any of us are wishing for it, we just feel that the world is out of control and we are expected to live our lives according to the system. Some of us just feel that we need a clean slate, but we also feel that nature, the earth, the universe has just had enough of this heartless, self-righteous, abusive, wasteful, violent, murderous and complacent cancerous race known as humans. We are stuck in a rut right now as a race, we're going nowhere technologically or spiritually and we're quite happily wasting our finite resources to make useless shite.
However I am going to line my shed with chicken wire (making a Faraday Cage) so that if we ever get our 7 minute warning I can get all my gear in the shed.

The only thing I know of that would allow communication would be a ham radio.All a group of people would have to do is agree what frequency to tune into during a certain hour of the day We would just have to do it befor the shit happens .It can also be monitored by just a short wave radio reciever and most can even be powered by a standard car battery that can be charged with a cheap solar cell charger.It just a thought to consider as a posible option...

I definetely hope it won't happen as then I would not be able to make music on my computer which is my reason for living. Also there won't be fresh water soon. The cities will maybe dry out because of the destroyed water system. No proper medicinical treatment when needed. Don't be so naive guys. This would be a very bad thing for all of us and better don't be wishing for it........rather legalize Marihuana and industrial hemp which would save the world and there would not be need for a massive CME.....

It will be this combined with how many other natural diasters. I have seen it, and mother nature is going to bring to the ground all that is modern. We have forgotten her power, and we no longer listen to her. We have a choice to turn away from the ways of man, or die. I DO NOT value my life over another complete species of animal going extinct, and that is exactly why I have been told were it is safe. I would give my life up to see her heal. She is putting her other foot down; the world will shake. For those of you in touch with yourselves; we subconsiously already whats going to happen, and you dont have to look outside yourself to understand that. We warned time after time. We know these the times of Noah that are upon us. Same reincarnated people too. What makes people think the changes will be any different? I dont sugar coat things to make myself feel better. I have accepted what we have done and the consequesnces that will happen. We have been warned - warned warned; from Elders to crop circles. It is basic cause and effect. I love my animal family and I want them to live in peace and survive; the parts of humanity that do not want that balance with nature and that dont want to live in peace, will perrish.

No streetlights, no buzzes or electrical noise, no cars, no TV, no radio. Silence, actual conversations, experiencing life first hand. Instead of soulless mass production lines producing useless shite (making slave of people) communities working together to re-build tech like water filters, wind generators, fresh water suplies for the benifit of survival and eachother. That would be life worth living

Very good point simpleman. Lets re-vitalise the group Disaster Plan. But for the sake of the future of our species, sacrifices need to be made, and we might say; we know the evil, we are awakened, why do wee need to make sacrifices and those sacrifices are things and people who are precious to us, but if we don’t, then how can we expect others to.
If we lose touch with friends who are dear to us and who are family to us, as long as they are in our thoughts and us in theirs, then we’ll never be apart, and as our will may have an active affect on reality, then our destiny might bring us back to those who are dear to us. I’ve experienced this.

It is the best thing for humanity and I welcome it. I do have a few concerns and one of them is loosing contact with my friends here at SoE. There are many of you that are family to me. We need other forms of communication other that electronic so we can stay in touch with each other.
