Note also something unusual occurred: hurricane Alex didn't follow the normal storm track, but went straight to Central Mexico and sofar the oil spill hasn't gotten into the Gulf Loop Current. The oil lake, most of which is frozen because of the depth, is heading towards Texas....

It seems there are more oil leaks -manmade- near Indonesia and somewhere in Alaska that we never heard about....Contrary to oil seepages, however, which seem to be a natural phenomenon...
