this is a lil more about keisha crowther...Little Grandmother” was made a shaman recently at age 30. The daughter of a white father and a Sioux/Salish mother, she grew up in a small farming community in southern Colorado, disconnected from indigenous traditions on the reservation of her people.
As a child she spent long periods of time alone in the wilderness where she lived with and learned from the four-legged ones, the flyers and swimmers as well as the star and stone people, unaware that she had been identified at a young age by the tribal grandmothers to later be a shaman. As a child, she had been taught by the ancestors, grandmothers past, and by Mother Earth. She was known for her ability to sense and communicate with animals...there are also videos of her doing a talk she did a few months ago that is very good too...and is titlled "Return of the Ancestors" - part 1, 2 and 3 (thanks to jose v for posting one of them here)...theres 10 parts...each video is about 10 mins...enjoy
