Am I the birds and the bees, or the sap in the trees?
Am I the rocks in the river, or the seaweed in the sea?
Am I the stars in the sky or a meteor flying high?
Am I the fruits and veggies, or the honey that is sweet?

Who am I? Please, I want to know who am I?
Why are things the way they are?
Why do the clouds cry?
Why do the birds fly?
Why am I here and what is my purpose?
Why was a born a woman and Black too?
Why was I born in the ghetto of Chicago?
Why did I see murders with my two eyes?
Why did my mother and father try to murder each other?
Why did me and my big brother cry?
Why did he get sentenced to 20-40 years?
Why can't I hold back my tears?
Why did I see so much death?
Who am I when there's nothing left?
Who am I, who am I, please tell me who am I?

Am I the H that can change dope into hope?
Am I the W that can change sin into win?
Am I the one creating my life and existence?
Am I the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end?
Am I made in the image of God, or am I God in the flesh?
What happens to my spirit when there is no flesh left?
