V: fear based or just good entertainment??

I just recently watched the pilot episode of V on abc and i gotta say it was a very good beginning... i cant wait to watch the next one that airs next week but i cant make up my mind on if this is a tactic to scare us for when the "good" ets come, or if its just for ratings, since aliens have been all the hype this past year, especially with district 9. id like to hear some thoughts on this

Umm, basic chronology. V -> 80s, Icke's BS (yeah, I said it) about reptilians -> 90s. Do your research... reptilians are not the evil beings V made up as entertainment and definitely not what Icke tries to sell. At best, Icke is misinformed and easily manipulated by the media, and at worse, Icke's a disinformation agent.

I watched it last night and it looks to me that they took a little bit of David Icke's info, David Wilcock's info, the government's disinfo and a smattering of speculation from the exopolitic's info and came up with a script. Strange thing was the closeup masonic handshake in there. I don't think this is much of a sign, but someone trolling these groups gathering some classic script ideas.
