I can’t get that Peggy Lee song, “Is That All There Is,” out of my head. Her whiskey and cigarette voice and tone-deaf delivery made an impression when I was a teen, and decades later, the earworm returns.

I’m seeking optimism, but it is elusive. Simon Parkes has noted in many of his podcasts that it’s not the unaware who suffer through the foot-dragging of the White Hats. The unaware don’t know that things should be different, that huge, positive changes are supposed to be occurring. To the unawakened, the world is as it’s portrayed by the controllers. Don’t expect anything better. This is all there is, so get used to it.

Those of us on the awakened path, who are supposed to keep believing beneficial changes are indisputably on the way, are the ones suffering through this prolonged waiting time. I always appreciate that Simon appears to not only understand, but share the frustration I feel at the molasses pace and continually moving goal posts+++
