One of the things that I’ve noticed that seems to happen to many people
early in their spiritual awakening is they become hyper-aware of all the
lies, manipulation, and control that’s been going on in our world, and they
are shocked and appalled — and rightfully so.
Some people get so fixated on these unsettling revelations, so obsessively
focused on them, that get themselves stuck in a state that is very
