Chris: “Teachers, could you please discourse on the nature and purpose of “spiritual dreams?”

Teacher Ophelius: “Dear One, this is a topic for which we may first want to ask, ‘Why do we dream?’ There are many reasons and purposes for what you call, ‘spiritual dreams,’ and if I had to summarize the manifold purposes of these ‘communications’ and bring them under one heading it would be: ‘Experience.’ Spirit dreams prepare you for the next adventure in your ascendant life.

“Spirit dreams are the experiences of the untethered soul. The human soul never sleeps, only the biological mechanism requires that it come to rest to re-energize, regenerate cell function, and to heal — this serves the animal nature — your interface with the material world. Your spiritual nature however, the human soul, requires other more needful things that it may not receive during its conscious moments on the earth plane. It is here in the ‘sleep life of the soul’ where your education for afterlife begins. Most of you retain little of these night excursions and some will tell you that they rarely dream at all, but I tell you that you do indeed have continued experiences during the time of sleep — only you do not recall those experiences.
