The Inca Elders say when one gets struck by lightning every molecule in the body comes completely apart, the lightning goes in between all the molecules, and then the body comes back together! Most of the time that strike of lightning kills the receiver, but to the ones that survive, their lives are suddenly changed forever. When they come back together they are considered enlightened. It would be so amazing if it was that easy, quick and done, “Wala†you're there! Today, a lot of our lives are getting struck by emotional, physical, spiritual, lightning. It is not an easy process. It can come suddenly, or come in agonizing and heart crushing slow motion.

Either way this process can be brutal and it changes us. Even though we would love a sudden blast of light that would change everything in an instant, the odds are not in our favor for survival. In order to maintain our physical body, it's important to take his process slowly, step-by-step, and pay attention to each step and learn through this process.
