I`m looking at this picture
a Child of Seven months.
She smiles at me with golden brown eyes
her hair is yet to come.

This smiling face -
this smiling face -
is the only thing I ever want to see.

She looks at me with a toothless mouth
open for something to say.
Her spoken words are yet to come
she doesn`t need them now.

To show her love -
to show her love -
her Trusted face is all she ever need.

Her skin is soft like water
it smells like finest oil.
Her richness still unbroken
a stone of purest gold.

This lovely child -
this lovely child -
is all the Gold I ever want.

I wonder why some people
look for God out there.
When this goldleaf world of children
are playing just right here.

Playing in the sun -
playing in the sun -
Giving what they have to each other.
