Journal Entry 08.15.2016
Today I managed to get out of the house despite the fact that the weather
was still hot and a little humid (I must be acclimatizing!) to visit the
Betty Setflik Memorial Preserve at Flagler Beach. The preserve is located
along the Matanzas River or Intercoastal Parkway. There is a boardwalk and
sand trail leading through swamp and hammock. There is a fishing pier on
the river and a boardwalk to a tiny beach. The main entrance is located off
