How does one describe thoughts and feelings that have never been experienced before?

 

The thoughts are not really thoughts that I can put into words.

They are more like feelings or an understanding. But I don’t really understand, so it’s more of a feeling.

 

The feeling is like knowing I, we , are on the precipice of a great change. We all know we are undergoing a great change so that is not news. But the feeling is as though this moment is so near that my knees are bent preparing for that snap decision to jump.

 

The feeling is not about that moment of decision or about choosing to jump but about what we, I, am getting ready to jump too.

 

How would astronauts describe the feeling of buoyancy in space before they had ever actually experienced it? I’m sure that this moment before the leap will feel different to everyone....
