Steve is away today. This is the (revised) record of an experience of a consciousness state called exaltation, written seven years ago today, on Dec. 21, 2015.

Continuing my ethnographic record of one person’s Ascension, I find myself for a second time in what I can only describe as an “exalted” state. (1)

I know that that word has heavily-negative connotations in our society, but there’s no other word for it.

I’m a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s court here, rather like the court jester playing the King.

But there’s no remedy for that either. I must forge ahead.

How can I describe feeling exalted?
