The Unification Epicenter of True Lightworkers
That’s right, this week it’s not a species, it’s one specific awesome animal and his name is Odin.
It’s well known that cats don’t like getting wet, however Tigers absolutely love swimming (in fact tigers in captivity require some sort of pool they can bathe in) and Odin is no exception. These stunning images were taken in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Zoo in Vallejo, near San Francisco.
Odin is about 10ft long from nose to tail, and is an excellent swimmer. He has his own private swimming pool with a big glass wall, built so that zoologists can study the behaviour of tigers under water and so that visitors can see this stunning animal.
White tigers - the colour is caused by an unusual genetic combination - are rare in the wild, although there are several dozen in zoos.
Odin was hand-raised at the zoo. And after he was weaned, his British trainer Lee Munro discovered his remarkable skill: when a lump of meat was thrown into a pool of water, Odin would happily dive in after it.
Tragically, within our lifetimes, zoos might be the only places left to see these magnificent animals.
A century ago there were about 100,000 tigers in the wild. Now there are just 2,500 adults, with the Bengal variety almost extinct.
You must agree though, that Odin is one Awesome Animal.
