This is supposedly the misunderstanding and misinterpretation of Jesus that the Antichrist as Maitreya will promote:
Jesus of Nazareth and the Christ are not one and the same person. This is one of the most difficult claims for many Christians to accept in connection with Maitreya, the World Teacher, and it therefore needs some further explanation.
In fact, the title Christ does not refer to an individual at all. It is the name of a function in the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom, that group of advanced beings who guide the evolution of humanity from behind the scenes. Whoever stands at the head of this Hierarchy automatically becomes the World Teacher, known in the East as the Bodhisattva, during the term of his office.
Maitreya, who embodies the energy we call the Christ Principle, has held that office for over two millennia. In Palestine he manifested himself as the Christ to inaugurate the Age of Pisces, then beginning. The method he used is called spiritual overshadowing, that is, his consciousness informed and guided the actions and teachings of his disciple Jesus. It was, therefore, the consciousness of the Christ, Maitreya, which was seen and experienced by those around Jesus.
The events from Jesus' life and his words have been greatly misinterpreted due to this little-understood connection between his work and that of Maitreya the Christ. This has given rise to the age-old theological point of contention -- namely, whether Jesus was God or man, or perhaps both together. The answer is that Jesus was a man who, as a result of the process of evolution, became a Son of God -- as does everyone eventually. Others had gone before him on that path and many have taken it since.
The disciple Jesus of 2,000 years ago has by now become one of the most senior Masters in the Hierarchy: the Master Jesus. During most of the current time he has lived mainly in Palestine. Since 1984, however, he has lived in Rome.
In June 1988, an associate of Maitreya indicated that the signs of Maitreya’s presence in the world would continue to increase. "He is going to flood the world with such happenings that the mind can never comprehend it."
These are "Miracles" that will be atributed to the "Christ" Maitreya.
1Weeping and bleeding statues;
2 healing crosses of light and springs of water;
3 divine messages inscribed by the seeds within fruits and vegetables;
4 bronze and stone sacred statues that appear to drink milk ― through such steadily increasing signs and manifestations, now widely reported in the media, he has touched the hearts of millions, preparing them for his imminent emergence. These miracles also strengthen people's faith and give them a sense of hope and expectancy for the future.
His energy of love will enter the hearts of all, galvanizing humanity to save the world. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of spontaneous healings will take place throughout the world. In this way we will know that Maitreya is truly the World Teacher for all humanity.

Two: There is an inner spiritual government of the planet, known under such different names as the spiritual Hierarchy, the society of Illumined Minds, or Christ and his Church, according to various religious traditions. Humanity is never left without spiritual guidance or direction under the Plan.
Three: The widespread expectation that we approach the "Age of Maitreya", as it is known in the East, when the World Teacher and present head of the spiritual Hierarchy, the Christ, will reappear among humanity to sound the keynote of the new age.

Theme 1: Financial regulation
World Goodwill does not specialise in this complicated area, so our suggestions are at the level of broad principle. One area that seems ripe for investigation is the factor of just how complicated financial instruments and dealings have become. When the world’s richest person, Warren Buffett, can say of the instruments called derivatives that they are “financial weapons of mass destruction”, then surely the time has come to think about simplification.
Theme 3: Macroeconomic issues and addressing the crisis
It is understandable that citizens may be alarmed to find that they are now saddled with a debt that they did not expect. On the other hand, the situation could be viewed in a positive light: a share in the responsibility for much-needed financial reforms has been granted to them. It would be good if governments could acknowledge this new role for citizens, and give it some concrete expression – perhaps through the inclusion of citizens in a panel to review progress on the rescue plans, in a sort of financial jury duty.
Theme 4: Reforming the global financial architecture
The final result, and the historical significance, of current events, are not yet clear. Whether there will be major changes to international financial systems, with increased transparency and equitable distribution, remains to be seen. However, the possibility of materialism losing at least some of its grip is certainly present. Many thinkers, such as James Robertson (www.jamesrobertson.com), Hazel Henderson (www.hazelhenderson.com) and Bernard Lietaer (www.lietaer.com), and groups, such as the New Economics Foundation (www.neweconomics.org), have already put forward scenarios in which the role of money within society is reformed, with the purpose of creating a better society for all. Let us hope that the current turmoil will open a space for such ideas to be explored and acted upon.

Day of Declaration
At the earliest possible moment, Maitreya will demonstrate his true identity. Through a growing public response to his presence, Maitreya will be invited to speak to the entire world via the linked television satellite networks. On this Day of Declaration, we will see his face on television, but he will not actually speak. Instead, each of us will hear his words telepathically in our own language as he simultaneously impresses the minds of all humanity. The true sacred names in Hebrew and Aramaic are "Yeshua ha Mashiach" and Elohim Adonai. I use the corrupted english for the benefit of those that are familiar with it.
