If we were to strip away your physical body, if we were to strip away your mental body, if we were to strip away your astral body, what would we be left with? It's Light, but they will never realise this until sufficient Light is brought back into this world, and I say back because your world has gone into a decline, and there was a time when there was sufficient Light on Earth for people to know who they were and to live accordingly."

Feel free to use this either in its existing format or change it any way that suits your requirements. All you need to add is some suitable relaxing music and a creative mental environment for this type of meditation. Such activity is now becoming more commonplace where meditations can take place with small groups in the home or even the office during breaks. Gone are the days when you are required to attend workshops and seminars where meditation can take place.

All I can say is that if meditation is on your ‘to do’ list then go for it. All I ask is that you let me know how you are getting on. See the meditation in full:

To the writers of this world: Whether you write fiction, biography, historical facts or whatever, there are a few 'ingredients' which are an integral part of your being which come into play each time you dip pen in ink. No two people are alike once these 'ingredients' begin to manifest. One of the quotations I use that I credit to Jasper T. Nicoli says: "Only through opposites do we experience the contrasts in life."

He also says: "Desire is a mathematical predisposition for thought." Put simply this means that before any kind of thought enters your head, a desire of some kind must manifest. For writers we have our emotions, our intuition and of course our inspirations and aspirations.

However, above all of these are our experiences which, combined with the above, amount to a very powerful cocktail whereby our words can be a mighty weapon. It was Edward Bulwer-Lytton who said "The pen is mightier than the sword." Of course I agree but Jasper T. Nicoli also says: "Letters are priceless and create language, but words come cheap."

When you read the following blog I hope you will begin to understand how natural laws play their part as the polarities of a physical universe influence our actions. Here is the opening paragraph to "Contrasts".

"Illness is a blessing! How this statement must hurt, especially to those who may be lying on a bed of sickness, and I apologise for opening this article on such a note. However, we are all suffering from illness in one form or another, whether it is serious or not."

The conventional idea behind reincarnation is that after dying we return to the Earth plane to live another life. However, when up-to-date theories are introduced and the study of quantum physics is brought into the equation, a whole new concept is created which contradicts orthodox thinking. Suffice to say that reincarnation cannot exist in the way that we thought was possible. Some may say that it doesn't interest them. However, it does concern them. In fact it concerns everyone.

We consider 'hearing' and 'sight' as two of the five natural senses which, combined with the other three, feed our consciousness with information that helps us to experience physical life. Each sense is separate to the other in the way that we interpret this information. However, there is another sense that we possess -- a sixth sense -- that works OUTSIDE of the parameters where we take everything for granted. Or should I have said INSIDE?

Here is a paragraph taken from this article which is meant to help wet your appetite to read further and perhaps stir your curiosity into forming your own conclusions:

"It’s unfortunate that as we live out our physical lives, the intellect which allows us to piece together our experiences, obscures our greater vision; that ability to look at the universe with our eyes truly open. For those of us who can tap into this inner world will know there is beauty that is beyond wonderment. Then, this energy can be truly perceived. A sound will show itself in all its glory, not only as a single note, but as a vibrant living thing which will dance to any tune and glow with a colour proportionate to its heavenly signature."

One of the major contributions which determines and distinguishes a great movie from a not-so-great movie is location. When moving home, it’s all about location, location, location. We live in a three-dimensional world with great emphasis put on the material aspects of life. So why not make the most of it? Being there (location) is what triggers our five natural senses so that we can experience – and enjoy – the environment. Our emotions complete the job in hand and help us to tread new paths as we climb the ladder to whatever it is that we aspire.

Staying with the movie theme for a little while longer, it’s no surprise that the great films of the 20th and 21st Centuries were based on themes taken from novels. In turn, it is equally essential that the location aspect in a novel is just as, if not more, important. After all, this is where most good movies originate.

“The Meadow” novel is no exception. It is has only recently been published, but one day it will make its ‘marque’ in the world of entertainment.

When Peter Jackson was in tune with his colleagues and advisers debating the best locations for “The Lord of The Rings,” they couldn’t go past their back yard in New Zealand. And why not? There was an abundance of choice regarding the backdrop to such a wonderful trilogy of films which will go down in history as one of the ‘greats’ and what a marvellous job they did of it.

My favourite movie of them all is “Gladiator” and my hat goes off to Ridley Scott for the choices of location. From England to Italy and Malta, then finishing in Morocco, Scott Free Productions did an exemplary job. Thanks to the marvellous accompaniment of music by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard, a masterpiece was created.

What possibly helps to make “The Meadow” stand out against other novels is not only the rich choice for location but also for the time span that it covers. Beginning before recorded history the scene opens in ancient Mexica. I use that word carefully because I’m referring to the region on the South American continent long before Mexico was introduced as a country. It climaxes on the Himalayan Mountains in modern times having covered locations around the world in its quest to cover time and place.

What is important to yours truly is the fact that a lot of the locations featured in modern times are focussed around my area of North East England. I live in a quaint, picturesque part of Tees Valley, surrounded by hills and valleys and of course the inevitable industry that can blot any landscape. However, it is the polarities in between the blots that help us to appreciate what we have. I hope that between Elfreda (my writing partner) and I, the right choices were made when we picked such places as Elwick Village, Hartlepool Marina, the Billingham International Folklore Festival and Beamish Open Air Museum. All these locations are within easy reach to me and we tried to make the most of what appeared to radiate the best energy when bringing to life the story around “The Meadow.”

All manner of emotions are evoked when the reader mentally places his/herself into one of these locations as the storyline unfolds. Swathed in primordial mystery, it blazes a trail through four devastating lives and personalities, from ancient times to contemporary Pakistan, before luring the lead characters into the twenty first century, where we meet them as Steve Ballantire and Eva Norman. But they do not arrive here alone. Obsessed with revenge many centuries old, their nemesis, representing the Dark side, is in hot pursuit of the protagonists.

In my quest to emphasize this short tribute to the importance of using locations, I have added a five minute video below which provides footage of the four very English locations which helped to weave the rich tapestry which is “The Meadow.”
This is how the professional advertising people work -- using something that they know will catch on quickly and bringing it into public awareness. Of course, just like any advertised product, the quality has to be there. It's no use having a great slogan with a product that doesn't back it up. In time, Elfreda and I hope that the title of our book will become a household name.
Marketing is not an easy task. The first thing that must happen is that a 'gimmick' gets people talking. Word of mouth is the most powerful of all marketing tools and without that, all else fails.
I would be very interested to learn of the number of members who have obtained the book so far. We have no stat counter or automatic feedback. Even Amazon only give our publishers feedback every quarter so we are in the dark as to how well the book is doing. One thing I know for sure is that our American friends are carrying the flag for us so far. Many thanks to all of you who have took the time to make comments about the story, especially Bree from the US and Linda F from Canada who have been in direct contact with me.
For example, there was never any intention to bring the story into manuscript format. It was only after my encounter with Elfreda that it became a reality and, between us, we prized the idea out of my head and onto a hard drive. Even when we began writing the story, there was never an outline laid out for the whole thing. Outlines were only prepared for each chapter as we took them step by step.
I remember Elfreda asking me…
“The Meadow” has been written in a very extraordinary way.

I remember Elfreda asking me when we were half way through how this story would progress and, more importantly, how it ended. Despite the fact that I had had this idea spinning around in my head for as long as I can remember, I never actually had an ending in mind. This is not your conventional way to write a book and I’m not endorsing it as such. However, it appeared to work for us, as though there was a third party involved and was guiding us along the literary way.

This meant that the story was wide open for new ideas and thoughts to be added as we progressed. We took many detours along the way, particularly during the editing stages where massive changes were made. When the concept of the story had been laid down, the creativity began between us in equal proportion. We came up with ideas that were by virtue of inspiration, emanating from all kinds of unknown sources.

One example of this happened when I was out biking around my home town of Hartlepool. I decided to have a ride to the place where I hung out as a young lad who was full of mischief. This is where I would conspire with my peers to pinch apples from private orchards or go looking for girls, a newly-discovered pastime which was becoming more enjoyable every day. I was not expecting the following events to unfold.

On a familiar street I noticed that a house belonging to a local market gardener had been demolished, exposing what used to be his private land which was surrounded by other houses. This land had been bought by a developer and turned into a small modern housing estate, starkly contrasting against the much older existing houses which encompassed this quaint spot.

At first I just accepted that this was progress and was about to move on when I spotted the nameplate of this cute and very trim little cul de sac. On a white background and supported by two strong grey poles was the name “The Meadow.” I could have sworn that it was illuminated; such was the energy that I felt oozing from this title. How could I ignore such a “sign?” I couldn’t, and after much deliberation with Elfreda, we brought the real “The Meadow” into the plot and storyline. The final result is now resting between the pages of the published book.

Another anomaly to how this novel was written is that Elfreda and I never met until after the story had been told. That is another story and deserves some explanation. Maybe in another blog?THE SPOTTED COWtag:saviorsofearth.ning.com,2009-08-22:2492330:BlogPost:2048652009-08-22T10:20:19.000ZMike O'Harehttps://saviorsofearth.ning.com/profile/MikeOHare

The Spotted Cow probably fits into the top ten of country pub names that are dotted around the UK and Channel Islands. However, there is one Spotted Cow which has a relevance and energy all of its own. In years to come, I wonder how much of this short story holds an irony which proves very special.

"The Meadow" novel features locations all around the world, and different times in history. Its characters are more than colourful when you consider the gauntlet of experiences they have to endure as the cosmos directs them from one life to another as though it has planned some kind of celestial never-ending journey. In a way, the main protagonists, Anacaona and Teuch, are on a cosmic mission just like what happens in the secret world of international intrigue. The only difference with our heroes is that they are never aware of what is happening to them.

In the present time, tucked away in a quaint and quiet spot of North East England is a country pub called The Spotted Cow. It is a real pub and location, used to feature a very important part of the novel. What happens inside and outside of this pub becomes a key turning point in the story of "The Meadow." Elwick is the name of the village where the pub is situated, and Ocean View is the name of the farm from where our modern-day hero conducts his life.

When Julie Peart, the landlady of The Spotted Cow, learnt about "The Meadow" and its connection with her pub, she couldn't resist obtaining her copy as soon as possible. The above photograph shows her proudly displaying her hardback with the backdrop of the pub behind. Elwick is one of the most picturesque villages in the UK and has won many awards for its floral displays and general appearance.

The authors to "The Meadow" sincerely hope that the peaceful and contented lifestyle of the villagers doesn't become too disrupted in the near future as more and more people learn about this real village and its pub and express a desire to see it for themselves to savour an unusual story about undying love. All we can ask is that visitors pay the locals the highest honour and respect their privacy. The picture to the right features the main road into and out of Elwick. There are only two main streets leading to the most beautiful houses and cottages, some of which are a few hundred years old. I am aware of all the attention that this ‘new-age philosophy’ is attracting. Until someone can come forward and provide proof for what is being forecast to happen in the near future, I’m afraid that I must consider this to be subjective and, in my opinion, a trend which has been manufactured in a similar way throughout history.

Is this not just another way for the Establishment to keep abreast with our evolving waves of thought and manipulate the whole thing to keep control of the masses? What exactly is being indicated to suggest these ‘shifts’? There appears to be as many assumptions about forecasted changes as there are people on the globe, and that tells me very little about how we are about to alter as compared to the prophecies of the past. We can’t all be right.

Let’s look at ‘change’ and see what it represents, now that we use this as a 21st Century buzz word so often. As a race, we have witnessed change ever since the wheel and the plough relieved Man from the drudgery of fighting for his survival. Nothing has and never will remain the same. Change is an integral part of our being and way of life.

Modern terms, words and phrases have entered our vocabulary such as ‘consciousness shift’, the year ‘2012’ and ‘Ascension into the fifth dimension’. If we look into antiquity, we may account for many big changes on a parallel to this next predicted ‘shift’. Before the Mayan calendar became popular there was Nostradamus and his hypotheses which, in some areas became manifest. Then we have the historic and biblical characters doing the same thing, all having something which we could turn into reality if we so chose.

The last change, where hardly anyone batted an eyelid, involved the introduction of the Internet. It crept in so slowly that we barely noticed. Had it been forecasted the way things are with ‘2012’ it may have been a different story – hallelujah, it came to pass, praise be the Internet. I apologize if some think I’m making a mockery out of this. I’m simply trying to put things into perspective. I know there will be those who will claim that they know what is going to happen because they have seen or felt it somehow. To be honest I’m not even arguing against this. There is no doubt that folk are beginning to ask more questions, and maybe that is the key. Could this be the catalyst that will force things to change within society and move us out of the control of the Establishment?

When Emperor Constantine, in 312AD, granted the newly-formed Christian Church legal status to acquire and commercially transfer property for monetary gain, a whole new mindset was born. The scribes and priests of the day were given carte blanche to change history in the name of a new world order. Old customs and cultural habits were replaced with doctrinal reforms and empowered by armies that grew with every conquest. And so the military and ecclesiastic hierarchy formed a liaison that would spread its order far and wide. Very little has changed since.

Change was forced on humanity with the extermination of those who would not conform. Direct descendants, students and followers of this regime would move through rivers of blood in their quest to see that dogma and creed would replace truth, and the god-given right of every soul to express itself would be denied. This is the world we recognize today where a handful of misguided souls pull the strings of every government of virtually every nation.

Conditioning becomes the order of the day delicately disguising the imposition where so-called guidance is handed to us to point the way to prosperity and progress. The part of our nature which desires to share is that which the present-day regime intends to keep in chains. Personal responsibility is frowned upon whereby governments and organisations exist that can do the thinking for us. Profit and greed becomes the driving force and we see the results of their efforts materialise through the chaos of a deteriorating world.

This was a major turning point in our history – just another ‘shift’. Before that, Man somehow had always managed to maintain his level of power because the bartering system of exchange allowed it. When the likes of Constantine came upon us, the bartering symbols changed into monetary ones and the currency signs of the day would ‘till-ring’ (ka-ching, ka-ching) in the eyes of those who chose to implant fear to gain control.

Probably the biggest change to society in recent memory was the Industrial Revolution. However, from the beginning it was the established body of individuals who made sure that every invention or technological innovation danced to their tune. Keep the religions of the world in power and the rest would be easy to control. Breed a religion and you breed the fear that feeds it.

Now we have the introduction of the Nano world where the simple atom can be manipulated and through quantum math the molecular structure of almost anything can be altered or used. It’s frightening, but it’s true. This is another form of change. The math is king and for those who use it for their selfish needs now have the ability to wipe us out. They do it already through the virus chain and there are plans afoot to integrate every society ostensibly in the name of protection against terrorism. The only real terrorist on this planet is the Establishment and if they manage to integrate us as planned, they will kill those who resist as history once more repeats itself.

If there is to be any change in the offing, the responsibility lies with us to make it so and not wait for some divine intervention. At the moment we still have the most powerful tool on the planet and that is the Internet. There is not one nation on this earth where the ordinary man, woman and child do not want peace and harmony. It is the bankers and industrialists of this world who are the real terrorists and they must be relieved of their power before it is too late. One of their next plans of attack is to control the Internet. Don’t let them take this away from us.

Change is within our power to control. If we leave it to others, the legacy that will be left will be in the form of an inscription on our headstones.PLEASE HELP. DO YOU KNOW THIS PERSON? What was regarded as taboo only five to ten years ago has now become mainstream and topical.

Choose any popular publication today and you are virtually guaranteed to find a page or two dedicated to your stars and horoscope. Some have pushed the boat out even further, using a “qualified” person to take you on a journey that is literally out of this world.

This is the domain of the medium and astrologer (not necessarily the same person). It would appear that matters, which do not always look black and white, have an air of intrigue about them. These people help to bring about awareness regarding some of the phenomena that surrounds us.

Let’s concentrate on how people perceive the medium, also referred to as the clairvoyant. It can be quite varied depending on the person’s lifestyle, general and religious beliefs and conditioning. No two people are alike regarding their views and opinions.

We’ll start with the sceptic. Bob is a retired market gardener whose life has evolved around nature. Being creative and versatile has been the main criteria to a successful career. He still feeds his mind with as much information as is necessary to help sustain coherence. As a consequence, he reads many magazines, covering many subjects.

Without specifically targeting the “psychic” pages, Bob admits that it’s hard to pass them by without that inquisitive glance. He asks for proof regarding some of the claims and stories that he reads. “Some things are beyond credibility,” he says with an air of wanton belief. Who can blame him?

Connie has spent her life going through two marriages (she is now single) with four children to support. She describes her working career as being “turbulent” with a virtually non-existent social life. True friends are hard to come by and claims being let down too many times.

Sometimes we are moulded into what we are as a result of the way we interact with others. By her own admission, Connie’s views on life are somewhat cynical, and she carries this mode of thinking into what she is prepared to accept regarding the greater things in life.

She is an avid reader of books and magazines, immersing herself into a world of escapism. Again, it is hard to pass by those pages where life beyond the grave is claimed as a reality. There can never be sufficient proof given by people who Connie refers to as frauds, fakes, con merchants and charlatans to satisfy those inner cries of desperation.

Conversely, Hilary is a trusting soul who loves everyone and everything. Her caring nature has drawn her into the nursing profession and is now Senior Staff at a leading university hospital. She has witnessed so many patients bravely accepting their terminal condition that she is convinced there is a “guiding light” at hand.

Her faith and belief in all things is matched only by her response to the call for help. There are many experiences that she claims are beyond her understanding, yet does not dismiss them. The staff rooms are awash with magazines covering all subjects, and Hilary is keen to read and learn. She can relate to her experiences by what she reads in the “spiritual” pages of newspapers and magazines and is prepared to keep an open mind.

These three people are typical of the cross section of the general public where perceptions can vary so much. Myths and misconceptions regarding the medium still abound and range from witches and fortune-tellers to frauds and shysters.

To help bring matters together, let’s take a close look at the medium and see what he or she is about. How different are they from the rest of us? At the time of this interview, Les Henderson was 29 and has been a medium most of his life. Here’s what he has to say about his profession and how he regards the observations of those readers:

“There are two general perceptions. The first is that there’s something mystical about us, something magical that we do like summing up the dead, and that we can read people’s minds. We have no ability like that whatsoever. Of course we can pick up things from people’s auric fields, maybe events that people are going through. But reading thoughts and things like that is absolutely ludicrous.

“Some people expect the medium to be like a divvy old lady who only sums up dead old aunties and uncles – a bit like the old fortune tellers. But mediums come in all shapes and sizes, colours and creeds. They are different from one another. At the present time and because being psychic has never been so popular, it’s trying to get people to see that it’s very normal. I find it extremely normal in what we do.

“There is nothing magical or magnificent. What we do is open up the psychic senses and we are given information that we pass on to the recipient that they understand. For example, messages from loved ones of people who have passed over, who need to know that the soul lives on and the memory of that soul hasn’t died. Now that’s what I believe the purpose of mediumship is -- to prove to people that their loved one, and the memory of that soul is alive somewhere. Wherever that is, God only knows.”

You can’t be more honest than that! Les has been invited to attend as a guinea pig at the Department of Parapsychology at Newcastle University to determine whether there are any links between schizophrenics and clairaudient mediums. This is how close science has come to discovering the true nature of mediumship and its diversities.

The use of science can help break down the many components that constitute our physical existence. In that respect, mediums are no different to anyone else – just normal people, living a normal life.

Fortunately, science can also look beyond the physical ties and help determine the mechanism that allows the medium to “switch on”. By this fact alone, let it be said that each and every one of us is a potential medium.HOLLYtag:saviorsofearth.ning.com,2009-06-13:2492330:BlogPost:1804202009-06-13T10:45:22.000ZMike O'Harehttps://saviorsofearth.ning.com/profile/MikeOHare

I originally acquired her from a Cat Protection organisation when she was about three. Her previous owner(s) must have been crazy to give her up. The usual excuses apply: moving to where pets are not allowed; a new baby to the family, so the pet goes; owner gets a new partner who doesn’t like animals etc. Spare me please!

It’s been more than 35 years since I had a cat, but I eventually answered to the “call of the wild”. Once the desire surfaced to share my life again with a feline, it wasn’t long before Holly picked me (cats always pick us – not the other way around).

Whoever claims that cats are not loyal must have been reading the K9 weekly. Granted, dogs are very loyal and affectionate creatures (well, some of them are). However, the dedication offered to their owners can be likened to animal passive subservience. The cat has a lot more going for it.

The so-called “sly” exterior is nothing less than a calculating and reasoning behaviour. Its intelligence is confused for the predatory and selfish instincts that humans attach when they look upon this beautiful animal. The cat is superior to us in many ways. Our physical senses are no match for it and it has agility that we can only dream of possessing.

Sometimes, I will just sit and return Holly’s gaze and wonder just what is turning over in that compact little mind. She has no ego to cloud judgement, nor emotions to foul up decisions and her memories are designed proportionate to her instincts. How I envy her.

It is my firm belief that these intelligent creatures can “see” in so many different ways compared with us. How many can recollect the occasion when its attention seems to have been caught when nothing out of the ordinary has occurred? What is it attuning to or interacting with?

I often compare this with a young child who hasn’t yet had the conditioning passed on to her from her elders. Her clear sight is not fogged and so she can see beyond those barriers that we create via our intellect. The animal, particularly the cat, has this “sight” for life. One day, perhaps science will provide us with the answers.

To find out where the cat’s loyalty lies, we must look with it, beyond the physical ties that bond us. I have heard many stories of how it can seem to reach within us and manifest its reactions in the desire to protect us, thus reciprocating the love and affection we bestow.

The memories soon came flooding back on how to keep a cat amused – too late after having purchased numerous toys and then realizing how a ball of string would have sufficed. She soon cottons on to the fact that I am the manipulator of this string, so I have to retreat to another room, out of sight to carry on. She is so clever.

This fickle human who thinks too much for his own good and lets emotion rule over logical thinking, must now prepare for the day when she eats her last bowl of food. How sad is that? After all, she is still only seven years old and has a lifetime ahead of her.
I don’t have the statistics of these deaths or even the geographical location. To be honest, I’m not sure that they even exist as specific deaths related to the category of influenza. It doesn’t pay to have these types of records available.

In one form or another, these strains have always been around, developing and changing with the global influences which surround them. It is so easy for the establishment to latch on to one of these strains and give it a certain label. Creating panic these days is made easy, not only because of the media and its technology, but because the media is controlled by the establishment. They go hand in hand.

The theme of the day is Swine ’flu – a new label attached to an old chestnut. It originates from A, B or C strain and is being used to create panic on a massive global scale. We should be pleased that the establishment are getting edgy. They are desperate and creating another panic is one way to get the populace back into the fold.

I would challenge anyone to prove that out of the regular deaths that are occurring every day because of the usual ’flu causes, this one is down to Swine ’flu. People are always dying due to the influenza stain – fact. It’s been happening for centuries. So where are the statistics which will prove that there are x-amount of additional deaths to the normal that is as a direct result of Swine ’flu? This is how we are able to be hoodwinked. Influenza is prevalent around the world as it has always been for centuries. Fitting new labels and creating a panic around it is totally irresponsible and can only be augmented for one reason. You must not take responsibility for yourself.

Did you hear about the reserve Presidential jet buzzing New York as a kind of publicity stunt? Afterwards the authorities apologized, not realizing how it would trigger 9-11 panic. They knew exactly what they were doing. I have a friend who was working in one of the high rise buildings at the time. The place was evacuated in less than ten minutes. However, they were only told to line up outside of the building. So how come they were not instructed to get the hell out of there if wasn’t a drill? This was done to see how quickly New York could be evacuated.
Now there is talk about getting the new drugs out to cope with this new ’flu – call it what you will. Drugs spell huge profits. They also signal a repeat of the old ways to administer more illness, hidden inside of these drugs. They want you where they know you will offer the least resistance.
Solar activity is what affects human behaviour. It dictates how we stay warm or freeze, and how our consciousness switches according to the magnetic impulses as its energy reaches us in many different ways. We are not designed to absorb energy from a direct source. This is all part of the human experience whereby we seek and learn how to progress. We require another medium for this, one of which is the feather.
Our soft, smooth outer skin is an organ designed only to purge the toxins as they are removed from our inner bodies -- from within to without. The miracle that is the feather is by virtue of its perfect thermodynamic geometry. Birds and animals have to rely more on nature to supply them with the requirements of survival and the simple feather is the daddy of all protection. But it goes much further than that because of its amazing capacity to hold information, whether that be in the format of heat, electromagnetic influence or spiritual energy. We have all been influenced by the presence of the feather in some way or other and we have subconsciously absorbed the emanating energies that have helped to mould us into what we are today.
Take the feather quilts and pillows that many of us have had the pleasure to sleep with during the course of our lives. Think of the void created in the countryside without the singing of the birds. Their very presence has an effect upon us of which we are totally oblivious. Somehow, we have all been subjected to the feather and its magical properties.

This part is so precious and close to my heart because without my dream about the owl many years ago, there would be no story about "The Meadow." I was only four when I had a dream about an owl. The idea for a story that was implanted into my subconscious later on was based around the feather of the owl. And it is the feather which becomes the interconnected thread that holds the story of The Meadow together.
After I had met Elfreda Pretorius, the reality of this dream manifested into the story which is soon to be published. Between us we have authored this novel and the owl and the eagle are major components encrypted into the storyline. "The Meadow" is about two people who, through trying and succeeding to find each other over many lives and over many centuries, demonstrate the interconnectedness of the Universe through the expression of their love.
Without the feather, these two progressing souls would not have managed to overcome the many obstacles that were placed in their way. Time and time again, through thick and thin, the feather and its symbolic meaning carries these two to the next level each time they reincarnate into this troubled world. The final outcome is in the way of a message that will benefit all who read this amazing story.
Thanks to the feather, my amazing dream and the legend which became manifest through the auspices of our combined imaginations, Elfreda and I are about to witness a new age and a message from "The Meadow" appropriate and proportionate to relieving this troubled world of some of its major problems. Read it and believe it and your world will never be the same again. I promise you. And just for good measure, here is the legend of the feather below taken from "The Meadow."
Every Native American has heard the story and dreams of one day finding the feathers. It is said that following a night of the full moon, when the mountain snows have disappeared and the buffalo finally return, the most wondrous crossing of two sacred birds takes place in the skies above the open plains.

Cloaked in the gloom of early dawn, the eagle leaves its lofty nest and approaches the forest where it circles silently, waiting with piercing eyes for the owl to rise from the wooded darkness. Before the sun illuminates the outer rim of the world, the king of the day and lord of the night rapidly ascend into the heavens where, in a sight to behold, they initiate a spectacular aerial display.

But when daylight creeps stealthily across the prairie, the birds unexpectedly drop from the sky and plunge toward a seemingly inevitable, but senseless death. Shrieking with talons extended, on an apparent collision course with the earth, they abruptly pull out of the free fall and silently glide past each other. It is rumored that just as a glimpse of the rising sun is captured in the eye of the owl, and when the fading moon shimmers in the glare of the eagle, a tail feather is dropped by each bird.

Legend has it that the feathers will bring their finder true love and bless him with wisdom. Every young brave dreams of wearing a headdress proudly displaying these feathers. But there’s one more sacred promise; to live forever with the one that you love.
