Point Toward the Moon...

Or at least try to focus on it.

In this photo my wife, two sons and I are actually watching fireworks, but I like it because it looks as though we are staring at the moon. I inscribe all of my books with "Point toward the moon," advice attributed to Siddhartha, aka the Buddha. It means that we are to focus on life's important lessons, e.g. treat others as you would like to be treated; behave in ways that are selfless, etc., and not be distracted by relatively petty things, e.g. material possessions, religious dogma, political partisanship, etc.
