I don't believe in luck.
Close call with death. I was driving this road grader and the engine died, leaving no steering no brakes with no control on a hill nearing the shop at work. It took out two pilings on the shop and hit a tractor parked there too. This is the picture my boss took seconds after. His first concern was I ok. He said it wasnt my fault and it happend before. Im ok and every thing is good.

When i realized what was happening, it felt like a dream or like tunnel vision. I didnt experience slow motion, it happened fast. The white object in front of me is a 2x6 wood board that went through the steering wheel an nearly impaled into my chest. Mike, my boss, said it was a good thing I crashed into the shop, because it could have rolled further down the hill and hit the big fuel tanks or it could have flipped over.
I could have never been born, because back in the year 1969 ,before i was born, my mother and sister survived a direct hit of a tornado while she and my sister were in a house trailer. The tornado took all the walls and roof and only a flat platform was left. She has no memory of how they were saved. She just remembers being inside when it hit and regaining consciousness while walking around out side after it was over. It was a miracle they lived. No one lives through something like that.
The reason I say I dont believe in luck is this is one of many times I have been spared from death. For a long time I believed that I must be protected by a higher power and I have been kept alive for some purpose. I have all ways wondered what that purpose is.
