Serengeti

I took this picture in 1997, we (a group of 7) had been driving for 30 hours nonstop in order to keep up with the schedule, this road is one of the entrance roads of the Serengeti National park, I took this picture while driving the car heading my way to a Lodge which we found 2 hours later.

There are no proper roadmaps to be found in or outside of Africa, we used Michelin road maps which were the only trustworthy maps to get us were we needed to be.

The image I took at that very moment I regarded as an unreal site of view, although we were only at the entrance, I realized we had entered the cradle upon which time caries neither influence or effect to affect the beauty which unveils.
