Hmmm. Let's see what I can see from this picture.
One, the object is not circular in shape. At first glance this might seem to be so, but the object is in fact either cylindrical or ellptic. Take the perspective into account, the 'top' in fact stretches away from the damaged zone along the ground.
Furthermore, let's see what I can deduce from the actual picture, with its fixed perspective and no other frame of reference or different angle. Box shaped connecting or strengthening beam along the left edge. External attachment point just 'above'. Faded marking along the top of the fuselage. Lower material impacted but mostly whole, upper and central section showing signs of shearing, metal along left side clearly detached due to metal fatigue or overstress. Outer 'skin' ruptured, inner skin mostly intact, appears to be fuel tank or other well crafted pressure vessel. Glimpses at other intact compartments of rectangular shape inside secondary pressure hull.
Conclusion:
Discarded SRB,
Discarded external refueling tank.
Sorry, no mystery until I can see another angle that alters my current perception of the object.
Also, fairly insubstantial impact event at the rear of the picture, near the cattle, impact 'gouge' filled with liqued. Object not solid, hollow, likely filled with liquid. See SRB or refueling tank above.
Still technically a UFO until it can be acertained which airforce or space program it belongs to, but of clear terrestrial origin.
