If the Mexican Flu (H1N1) spreads from human to human just like any other Influenza virus, and has exactly the same symptoms as Influenza A, not to mention the same incubation period and can be treated by the same measures as regular Influenza A...

... how do you tell the difference between Influenza A and H1N1?

the Flu H1N1 contains other Flu virus that can be fatal to human. And H1N1 kills more faster than FLU A.
