Sun Gazing Process

We have a super computer in our bodies given to us by the nature, which is our brain. HRM (Hira Ratan Manek) calls it the “brainutor”. The brain is more powerful than the most advanced super computer. Each and every human being is gifted with innumerable talents, and infinite inherent powers by nature. Individuals should never underestimate themselves. Everyone is gifted. If we make use of these powers we can take ourselves to great levels. Unfortunately, these infinite inherent powers are programmed in that part of the brain that is largely dormant and goes unused. Even medical science agrees we hardly make use of the brain but about 5-7% – the most brilliant of humans like Albert Einstein is reported to have used only about 32% of their brains.

If we can activate the human brain and awaken these infinite powers inherent in ourselves then we can raise ourselves to higher levels. We can achieve any results we want. In order to operate the brain effectively, it needs to be activated. Being a holistic entity it needs a holistic power supply. Sun energy is the source that powers the brain, which can enter and leave the human body or the brain only through one organ that is the human eye. Eyes are the Sun Energy’s entry door to the human brain. They are also known as the windows of the soul. Recent research has found out that the eye has many functions other than vision. And more information is continuing to be revealed about the functions of the eye. The eyes are complex organs and they have 5 billion parts much more than a spacecraft that has about 6-7 million parts. By this, you can see the immense capacity of the human eye.

HRM asserts that the rainbow is in the eye not in the sky. The seven colors of the sun is only the reflection of what is in the eye. We can create a rainbow anytime we want – go to the garden, just observe below a source of flowing water as the sun moves above. There you will see the rainbow. Eye can receive the entire spectrum of the sunlight. It’s like having a glass window. Eye is the perfect instrument to receive all the colors of the rainbow. Since eyes are delicate parts of the body, we have to use them in such a way that they serve our purposes without getting damaged. Present day teachings and ideas such as don’t look at the sunlight at all --you will damage your eyesight; never go out in the sun as you will get cancer, are causing needless hysteria and paranoia. The more you are away from the nature, the more there is a cause for illness and you will automatically support global corporations. There are definite foolproof ways of getting the benefits of the nature without exposing ourselves to its adverse effects. It is also as intuitive as when the clouds gather we become gloomy. When we see the sun, we feel energetic.

Sun gazing has been made possible by Hira Ratan Manek.

He was told by many different Gurus that his life’s purpose was to bring the sun’s energy down to earth. Eventually he discovered sun gazing, and has since made it increasingly popular.

Hira Ratan Manek is no ordinary man. The sun gazing has helped him have almost no need for any food whatsoever. He actually fasted for an incredible 411 days... living on water and sunlight only. 411 days! That is more than a year. And during his adventure, he looked and felt fabulous! This fast was scientifically documented by “Real Doctors” by the way.

Sun gazing offers a way to store so much energy, that we no longer need food!

How to Sun Gaze

It seems that there are quite a few different ways to sun gaze, but Hira Ratan Manek’s suggestion is quite straight forward yet exact.

Go outside during the sunrise or the sunset, when the sun is weakest, and stare at the sun for 10 seconds. The next day, add on another 10 seconds if possible. If you can only do 5, that is fine, just keep adding on up to 10 seconds per day everyday.

Eventually, you are sun gazing for 44 minutes per day. This could take around 9 months if you are adding 10 everyday, or longer if you add less.

By the time you reach 44 minutes per day, your body is fully charged and you never have to sun gaze again (although you can occasionally still sun gaze if you feel like it.)

It is important to do your sun gazing on the earth, in the sand, or in mud. Concrete, stones, and even grass absorb solar energy. And you don’t want to give your sun gazing energy away, you want to be selfish and save it for yourself. Therefore, standing barefoot on the earth is best... and I assume that this will give you all sorts of other fabulous benefits as well... such as having the opportunity to stand on the earth each day!

It is important not to squint your eyes. Relax your facial muscles and allow the light in. Apparently, according to Hira, the sunrise holds more energy and nutrients... but if you can’t get up that early, the sunset will probably do just fine.

Feel yourself relaxing as you sun gaze. Think of it as a meditation. Let go of all thoughts and open yourself up to receive. Be aware of your body and your surroundings.

Why Sun Gaze?

We all know that the sun is an incredible source of energy. The world’s top research is continually showing us that the sun is not this evil horrible monster that we need to constantly protect ourselves from. The sun is actually a source of incredible nutrients, such as vitamin D. More sun generally means less depression, and even less cancer.

But Sun Gazing takes this idea and runs with it. With the aid of sunlight, you can recharge each cell and atom in your body to its full potential. Sun gazing can be done to tap into your full human potential. Apparently, sun gazers who reach that 44 minute mark actually use 50% of their brain rather than the usual 10-12%.

It is said to release physical and emotional blockages that cause disease and unhappiness. Our perceptions increase and the universe becomes more expansive.

Sun Gazers Say That You Can Expect:

After you get to the stage where you are sun gazing for 15-18 minutes (3-4 months) You may notice that you are less irritable, angry, anxious and frustrated. You may feel more blissful, peaceful and joyful. You may even have moments of euphoria. You may begin to desire healthy foods, and junk food and toxic food will seem less appealing. Your overall sensitivity will increase.

When you get to 25-30 minutes (6-7 months), life will become much easier. You will feel clearer and more confident. A feeling that the world is unfolding perfectly, as well as a connectedness to all that is around you may happen. You may also be less hungry and begin to require less food and lighter food.

When you get to around 35 to 40 minutes (9-10 months), you will feel more harmonious and integrated into yourself and your life. You may even begin to feel your energetic body coming alive. Amazingly, many claim that at this stage they are more in touch with their higher selves. Again, you will probably need a considerably lower amount of food.

Once you get to the ultimate 44 minutes. You have reached the ultimate in sun gazing and you may notice that your whole world has changed. The hormonal and glandular system is balanced, in particular the pineal gland, which is also associated with the third eye. The solar energy is able to get into your body via the eyes and charge the body at a cellular level so it can reach its highest potential.

The body becomes purified and awakened. You will require a significantly smaller amount of food, and you may even choose to come off food altogether for a while. Disease and illness may totally disappear and your overall wellbeing will be amazingly enhanced!

I am thinking we need to take this practice to some poor countries around the world. Imagine if we could actually teach people in Africa, for example, how to live on the sun which is blazing above them, and improve their quality of life and overall health.

I'm gunna give this a shot... but I can't do it barefoot in the snow, so I'll be wearing boots and a parka. I'll let all the snow bound peoples of this earth know how that goes :) Thanks for the info Maitaki. It makes perfectly good sense to me.

I don't know that I'm entirely ready for it either, but I really want to check it out. It's about faith and trust for me too I think. Plus, I don't suspect that I'll starve anytime soon. There's a lot to sustain me besides the sun in this process lol.

Hey Dana let me know how you go! I've looked at sun gazing before and it does make sense. I don't feel quite ready to do this but i can see myself doing it in some moment.

The snow does make it a little tough to connect to the earth barefoot haha. Apparently you start to notice your appetite decrease after a while and it continues from there. Living off the sun, now that's sustainable.

Peace
Where I am in Canada, the Sun rises at around 8:30am right now, and sets just after 4:00pm. I have a small window. I'm fortunate because where I live in southern Alberta, we get the most sun on average for the year then anywhere else in the world. It's just not always suitable sun bathing weather lol.

I think with 411 coming up for you here, maybe that's a sign to give it a shot. Or start getting psyhc'd for it :)

much love
Dana

Wow, this in incredible. Like you Wideyed, I don't think it's something I'm ready to start right now, but when the time is right....

I wonder if the sun has to be clearly visible? ie not obscured by clouds etc. Will this work in England where it is almost always overcast? ;-)

Getting up early could be a problem for me too lol

In all seriousness though, I think this is utterly amazing information. And 411 days! That number keeps popping up for me at the moment....
I have already done this a couple of times before at sunrise... when you get through your eyes and head may hurt a little but it will go away, but it does help with the awakening process..well it did for me ..keep us up to date on how it works for you guys...NAMASTE
The sun is the ultimate source of life and the root of our most fundamental existence, without it we cannot be. Sungazing is not new, it was practiced by all of our ancient civilizations throughout history and known for it's mental, physical and spiritual benefits, but somewhere along the line the ancient practice was lost or maybe even suppressed, still few remain today that have revived this amazing phenomenon and live by it obtaining positive results.

The only thing is that we need to "re-learn" to practice.

I notice the energy from the sun now.
Thank you so much for this, it's the first time I hear about sun gazing. I will write it down on my calendar for tomorrow at sunset.

I wondered why I loved the sunset so much... thank you for making me realize.
It is very interesting all this information, in fact when i wake up sometimes i close my eyes in the sunset and spent a few seconds until i feel much energy through my body.
This is so incredible! Further down the rabbit hole I go, there seems to never be an end to these discoveries. As I looked up Sun Gazing, I searched videos on youtube and found out that there's a woman named Jasmuheen who lives on light and love and doesn't need to eat in order to nourish her body -- she does it sometimes for pleasure.

I'm currently in the middle of watching What the bleep do I know and I can already feel my perception of this reality permanently shifting. Could it really be that one day, human beings will nourish their bodies with the elements instead of the food resources?

I really want to begin Sun Gazing today, 10 seconds at Sunset and see where this lead me. I've always wondered how one could heal up their Pineal gland and other parts of the brain... well this is it guys, direct sunlight for 10 seconds every day!!!

I feel so happy, I do not feel prisoner anymore. :)
I have worked under the sun most of my life and the past years I have worked directly in the sun light. Would I still benefit from sun gazing, because I am interested in trying it?
