hahah what a joke, they are saying that there is life out there because their just realizing now that every sun has a planet like earth that can support life BUT the organisms would most likely be single celled *pfftt what a effin' joke. It takes them this long to figure this out, or just release some bull. Well at least its a start, probably there way of easing us into disclosure.

I know, I have seen that, too. I laughed all the way through the entire article! At the very beginning it sounded like the Associated Press were finally coming to their senses, but when I came upon that "single-celled" thing I could not help doing the "face-in-palm". How silly of me to think, even for a second, that something about beings who look like us who live on other planets will be allowed to filter through into the mainstream media channel.
And do you like how this author managed to put into the article some drivel about what most of us would do if we heard about life on other planets? They just cannot help implanting fear-based suggestions. I remember the author saying something about how most of us would run and hide in basements and nuclear shelters, blah, blah, blah...How disrespectful of our intelligence, isn't it?
