I am impress you have natural skills in photography and digital art ...  maybe you can share your Apophysis 7x software techniques.   I just downloaded but there seems to be a large learning curve...

Wow! i can't thank you enough for the awesome comments and critiques on my work JR. i wish i would have taken any courses in the field of art... but so far i am self taught.. i just pick up techniques from friends or tutorials sometimes and the rest i just figure out by myself... with my photomanipulation work its just been all trial and error and having fun with photoshop. The Grumpy Green Spider picture Here . All i did was set my camera up on a tri-pod basically directly in front of almost touching the spider and took a macro picture. the only touch ups I did to the original photo was change the lighting levels and bring out the colors a bit more. :)

Wow, your site is awesome ...  Thanks for sharing, Tetragrammaton, I am into the mathematics of fractals and I am taking digital photography course.  How did you take the spider pic ... it looks awesome.  Any techniques you would like to share?
