I'm not quite buying this. I'm a personal trainer and when the body is performing continuous exercise the muscles run by breaking down the molecule adenosine-triphosphate into adenosine-diphosphate initially then the body uses glycogen (processed in the body from glucose). After that the body uses oxygen as it's longer-term, if less explosive, fuel source.

Luckily I don't have a sweet tooth. So no sugar for me, no honey, no sweets, no chocolat. Not only does sugar deplete one's energies, it lowers also one's pH value and affects many other levels of our energy field. According to frenchman Michel Montignac sugar is a poison.
As for salt: from my experience, Himalayan or sea salt are good; table salt = processed salt.

Our body should have a pH of 7.4 to be in sound health, that is, it should be a little alkaline in nature.pH Balance – The key to know your body: pH balance is the ratio of acid to alkali in our body. It is basically the measurement of what remains in the body after the burn out of food items we consume – if there is an acidic ash or residue after digestion, then we can presume that the food we consumed was acidic in nature. Such acidic food would upset the body’s health by tilting the pH levels to acidity. The key to a healthy body is to have the ideal pH of 7.4. If the body’s pH falls below 6.8 or goes above 7.8, it can be life-threatening, leading to critical health conditions like acidosis (in case of acid increase) and alkalosis (in case of alkaline increase).If you know your pH levels, you would get an idea of how healthy you are. While an alkaline environment is ideal for your body climate, an acidic environment can make you vulnerable to a whole lot of diseases, including cancer and osteoporosis. pH Balance and Health: pH balance is critical to body’s health. A pH balanced body is one in which there is neither too much of acidic content nor alkaline content. Actually it works like this: our body cells need oxygen for proper functioning. When the cells fail to get oxygen from the food we take, they make up for it by fermenting blood sugar to produce energy. This method of producing energy can be harmful as it will leave a residue of lactic acid in the body. The higher the proportion of lactic acid, the higher the acidity of the body. More acid can cause damage to our cells, tissues, organs and our whole body environment.
