Regarding Patrick's comment. Gorilla's can live in the rain forests and jungles down to freezing temperatures at night, especially the mountain gorillas. The temperature in Jersey can range from just on freezing in the winter to around 80 degrees in the summer. I experienced some amazing weather whilst visiting this beautiful island and the animals appeared to be content with their surroundings. The staff are very good at catering for their every needs.

I read "My Family and Other Animals", long ago. It's nice to see the work of Gerald Durrell going on still. I hope Jersey is warm enough for the gorilla.
