Good communication skills are essential when we interact with others. A
diplomatic attitude allows us to convey our message in a manner that
both empowers and honors the recipient. This does not mean you have to
like the person, or "sugar-coat" the message to make it more palatable,
but it does mean the recipient feels the interaction has been respectful
and positive. The journey to a good outcome is just as important as the
outcome itself.
