i just don't get people that dislike things that are different from themselves...
do they not realize that if EVERYONE wanted to be and act and live like they do...have the same things...wear the same clothes...then there would JUST NOT BE ENOUGH and only the UBER rich would have what they currently take for granted?
the TRUE reality of the situation is that we should all be thankful for, and celebrate the ways in which we differ AS WELL AS the ways in which we are similar
it is this reality that guarantees that THERE IS ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE!!!
once we embrace this truth...there will be no more war...no more need to hoard...no more want to keep others subservient...no more imagined need for a system of control
that is not to say that we must all accept others ways of thinking...we must just RESPECT others right to choose for themselves, and ACCEPT that not everyone thinks like you do
if you do not like a certain kind of music...do not say it 'sucks'
just because you don't like something...doesn't mean it sucks, it just means that YOU don't like it
some people don't like ice cream....does that then mean that ice cream 'sucks'?
and who's opinion counts?
is it yours? mine? his? hers? theirs? ours? ...who's?
what is relevant to you does not need to be relevant to your neighbor
just accept that you are different
and never try to force your opinions down other peoples throats...
this will only create animosity
do not claim to be right, rather claim to have found what is right for you
bottom line
fear and ignorance are the enemy of human spiritual evolution

i can not agree that supremacy is a 'built in instinct'
but it is IS taught
i say this with love and kindness - you would benefit from learning the difference between sat and maya
one is real and one is illusion
illusions are only powerful when you believe them to be reality
we must look past the veil to see the beautiful truth

Supremacy is a built in instinct of all peoples in every culture. At some point in this worlds history. Supremacy was a taught ideal. Romans Greeks Spartans Egyptains British Crown and so on and so forth. The problem remains that all of these empires dominated the known landscape. The nations that developed after the fall of there overlords developed similar ideals.
I agree diversity is a beautiful thing. Sadly the news fuels indifferent fires of racist ideals and dividing people thro politics. The only people who escape ridicule is the people in power. It is sad but I agree if people would just learn to respect each others freedoms. We would still have many of them today
