No luck at all. While I can see clear glyphic roots, it's not of an alphabet that is either decyphered or available someone with my limited resources and/or intellect.

Then again, it's hard to decypher the actual glyps/runes themselves without a clearer picture and a firm idea of which way up they need to be read. Many of the ancient runic scripts could be read from right to left or from left to right, only someone fluent in their use would be able to tell.

I'm going to try transcribing the shapes of both upper and lower circle and mirroring them onto one another, as if 'folding' the circles together in the hope that the amalgam of runes leads to a known script.

On the plus side, this investigation has taught me how to write numbers and do simple maths in proto-mayan...

Any other linguists here that want to give this a go?

(Currently leaning towards ancient Etruscan, but some of the runes have more in common with Arameic... So much to learn, so little time...)

Any luck with the translation Ullan?

It's not hebrew, from first glance this is proto-hebrew, likely phoenician or similar runic script. Attempting to translate as we speak

I don´t know what language it is, but it sure looks like a language to me.

I think we should tell them somehow, even in our dreams to the consciousness that makes the crop circles (more like fractals) that we the humans because of the school systems around the world (for the most part), we need a human friendly manual to decode them !!! just maybe a little small crop circle in the side with the key to decode them....
don't you think guys and girls!?... lol!

This one in East Field has what looks like Hebrew writing, doesn't it? Does anyone here read Hebrew?

Nonya an Patricia T,
I also wish there were people studying this circles in more depth! But who knows? There might be and we don't know it!!
Christina, thank you for posting the other images! They are absolutely beautiful (and enormous)!
Ullan, the end bit of the tail looks like the Mayan number 8.
