Kundalini, Energy Surges and YOU!!


There is a massive surge happening across our precious planet and moving thru everyone’s body in one way or another.  I am getting a surge in emails about folks experiencing kundalini right now.  Take a moment and celebrate this sacred event within the body… then integrate it!!  It seems to be activated in many different ways, but I do want to address one in particular here.  The touch of a stranger!

There are many ways kundalini can become ignited within the body system and the innocent connection with another is huge.  I say innocent for a reason, I am not a fan of purposeful activation’s, because the body has its own timer and knows best when the whole body and mind is ready for such an experience.  Otherwise it is like trying to bake a cake with the over forced to the broil temperature.  It may get baked, but its not going to be the cake you wanted.

Kundalini itself is a surge in frequency within the body.  Altho we associate it with our root chakra, the crown chakra is as much involved as the root.  Most especially, the pineal gland.  The pineal gland is the regulator of light, otherwise known as melatonin.

A gentleman recently emailed me about an experience he had when he went to a yard sale.  The lady hosting the yard sale talked to him and his body started to react to her voice.  When she touched him he went into a wonderful, if not uncomfortable kundalini explosion within himself.  Gotta love the humor of it all.

The physical eyes really do see more than the brain processes.  First, he seen her light field, when she talked to him, he heard the frequency codes within her voice, and the innocent touch of the arm activated his entire body!!  A deep and close soul partner in his true home of spirit, stepping into his physical life for the purpose of activation his soul/light body.  And they both thought it was to buy and sell things!!

Because kundalini is most intensely experienced in the root chakra, the groin area especially, often times we discount the entirety of what is happening.  The crown chakra and the root chakra spinning rapidly to the rate of Change.  Change at the cellular level.  Change at the consciousness level.

Most people do not take the time and energy it takes to fully harness that kundalini energy and integrate it from root to crown within themselves.  So over time, the surge happens again, its kinda like saying to your soul.. you do all the work, I will wait.  And that’s fine.  What could have taken a month to integrate may take 10 years, but our soul is patient.  It knows it has a million lifetimes to complete this task.  And the human can get busy…

So I find it interesting the conversation on my facebook wall went to the surges of energy happening right now, to kundalini of the ear.  There is such a thing!!  Think about it, the soul energy must eventually integrate from the root on up and will pick up where it left off last time.  Every ounce of our physical bodies will eventually go thru the full integration, either spontaneously or purposely.  I have a very simple and might I add, quite enjoyable exercise for integrating kundalini on my website.  Just click here.

However, Shambha-lini can only be experienced after the full on integration of kundalini.  It is, after all, a soul expression (kundalini inside, shambha-lini outside.)

From what I am understanding right now about Shambha-lini it is the outward connection to other souls in body, fully embodied souls.  Thats about all I know about that… for now.  Information, when so new and so vast, comes in like a droplet in an IV drip, a tiny bit at a time so as to fully understand the enormity at hand, at heart.

There is also another aspect to this surge of energy, a huge aspect really.

We have been conditioned in our past (getting to here) to ground these new energies into gaia, And yet, it is SHE who is releasing this energy for us.  The grounding (and I use that word lightly) must be into US.  It comes into the solar plexus and enlivens the concept we know as “the new earth” into our lower three chakras.  WE ARE THE NEW EARTH.  It is not something outside of ourselves at all.

There are places on this precious earth, that when we step on that spot, activates our energy field in amazing and often times, very intense ways.  Kundalini activation’s just from stepping on the ground.  A place you set up long ago for your experience.  That is how powerful and how whole mama is.  She is not sick and dying… altho, some of her children are, at least to the old way of their lives.

We really are the bringers of the new world, it comes from inside of us and is created outwardly in full expression of our GodSelf.  Soul. Pick a name!! (smile)N

Here is another huge and important bonus about taking the time to fully integrate your kundalini energy when it arises… once fully integrated, from there on out, you know what any other power surge is about.  We have many inner surges for many various reasons.  Not every power surge is a kundalini experience, at least, as we understand kundalini.  But the soul does bring in higher frequencies of its light body at various stages of our evolution.

A short update on the energies

Let us begin this missive by saying that you have now entered a phase that is like no other you have experienced, and it will probably not be one that you will experience ever again. For now, so much is shifting and reshaping on all sides, both within and without, and so, this will indeed be a season of change on every level. You have by now grown accustomed to not being able to predict just what the next day or even the next hour will bring, and even if you mentally or physically may not have grown quite as accustomed to these changes as to the knowledge that they will occur again and again, you will all slowly but surely start to reset and reshape your very being into something that will feel much more at ease in this seemingly constantly turmoiled sea. You see, the rapid shifts and the heightened level of energetic activity is not to quieten down for quite some time yet, so for those of you who hanker for a quiet port after a prolonged exposure to these agitated seas, we can offer little but our sympathy at the moment, but for all those already sensing the huge energetic change taking place at this very moment, we can offer more of the same, at an ever increasing frequency in the days ahead.

For this will indeed be a season of tumultuous change on so many levels, but the changes we refer to will bring about a heightened presence of enlightened beings all over the planet. For this incoming light will stop for no one nor no thing, and it will not be one that comes a knocking timidly in the night, asking to be let in. Rather, it will continue to simply flow in at an ever increasing rate, disregarding any and all hindrances that anyone tries to put in the way. In other words, this flood of light and life will enliven even the darkest of corners and it will do so in a fashion that has not been seen before, and we do mean that in a very literal sense. For now, it will be as if the very ground beneath your feet will start to shimmy and shift about, and even the very bedrock of your life will at times seem to be nothing more than a thin gossamer layer undulating in the breeze, ready to rip apart and leave you all ready to step away from the old remnants of your former life and embrace something very new.

Again, we speak in convoluted terms, but we think it is safe to say that this summer there will be a lot of upheavals taking place, upheavals that may seem dramatic to the casual observer, but that to the ones already tuning in to the messages coming in on the airwaves so to speak of these energetic emissions will not be considered as news at all. For you will know in the very center of your being, the part of you that simply knows it all beforehand but has kept it hidden from that perhaps less enthusiastic human part of you, that whatever happens now, does so in order to propel you as fast as possible towards that end goal you so hanker for. In other words, expect much ado about some at times rather small and seemingly inconsequential details in your life, but know that these are merely symbols of the huge shift taking place, both for you and for everyone around you.

For nothing will be undisturbed by the winds that these energetic storms whip up now, and even if your life may not be all topsy-turvy at the moment, we venture to guess that you will all in some way feel this wind in your sails making the old anchoring ropes start to creak and groan as the pressure increases. For you will all be shifted in some way, but this is by no means a signal to a total upheaval for all, merely a reminder that any hidden urge to stay as is will now be overwritten by that far more important calling you all carry within. For change is not always pleasurable, and change does not always come in a neat and well presented package, all tied up and offered to you as a positive tiding. Change may well come in the form of an unexpected event that will serve to literally disconnect you from so much of what you thought constituted YOU. In other words, it may come in a very direct form as a way of literally moving you from one residence to another, or it may come in the form of total rearranging of your emotional and intellectual programming, making everything you thought you knew about yourself and the world around you stand out in a very new way, and this again will help you to make decisions based on the new instead of the old.

This may seem to be a rather over-intense period for many of you, but again, this river of light has carried you all well and truly away from the old shores, and it is pulling you all faster and faster down the rapids. It may seem to be a little bit daunting at times, but again this at times rather forceful current is simply doing what it can to bring you all the way back home, back to you, the real you, and to that space where you can start to act out the last part of this grand adventure of realigning your being and your world in such a way, the light will be continuously shining into and onto every part of it, and through that, remove any and all of those old acquired stains, blemishes and battle scars both this planet and you as human beings have suffered from for far too long.

So again we say, try to enjoy the ride, even if it may get rather “wild” at times, and know that all is well and you are just where you are meant to be at any given time, even if you yourself has lost any sense of direction at all. For you are being carried within this huge and unstoppable flood of light now, and as the speed and intensity increases, the best you can do, is as always simply to allow it to take you wherever it is it needs you to go. For once there, you will find yourself exclaiming from the very center of your being, “this is it, I have finally made it, I may not have a clear idea just as to how I managed to get to this exact spot, but now that I am here, I know that this is the space for me.” And then, and only then, will you be able to finally take root in a soil that is not only fertile, but more welcoming than you could ever dream of.


I just had to include this photo I took earlier this week, for it describes so well what these energies feel like to me: powerful and unstoppable and at times overwhelming but at the same time so empowering, crystal clear and full of LIFE.

What would a healthy diet based on scientific evidence look like?  Rodney Bilton, emeritus professor of biochemistry at Liverpool John Moores  University, has spent 15 years finding out - and discovered startling facts  about what to eat  to be slim and healthy...

Eat unripe bananas

Green  bananas, along with whole grains, vegetables and fibre, all contain resistant  starch. This is the most important form of soluble dietary fibre you can eat -  soluble dietary fibre is not digested in the small intestine, but is absorbed  more slowly further down in the body, where it is fermented by bacteria in the  colon to give long-term energy.

Resistant  starch is a carbohydrate but, unlike other carbs, its chemical make-up means  that it does not cause your blood sugar to rise, so is not a risk for diabetes  and it also doesn't cause sugar-crash hunger pangs after eating.

It  also has another slimming advantage in that it stimulates the release of a  hormone, glucagon, which boosts the rate at which our bodies burn  fat.

Resistant  starch is therefore a crucial dietary component for managing your weight and  blood sugar, as well as  helping healthy bacteria to grow in your large  bowel, thereby reducing the risk of colon cancer.

Green  bananas are the best source of resistant starch: the less ripe a banana is, the  more resistant starch it contains.

In  the Western world we eat on average between 3g and 7g a day of resistant starch.  Expert bodies such as the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research  Organisation, the official science body in Australia, recommend eating at least  20g a day.

Keeping  our intake of sugar as low as possible is important for both our waistlines and  our general health. While the obvious thing to do is to cut out sugary drinks  and processed foods, we should also consider how we prepare healthy foods in the  kitchen.

The  way we cook food can alter the amount of sugar released into the blood. For  example, 25 per cent more sugar is released from a potato when it is boiled and  mashed before eating, compared with cutting it into chips.

Potato  and other carbohydrates contain large granules of starch. Heating and grinding -  eg, mashing or pureeing - starch granules increases the amount of sugar by  breaking open the membrane that surrounds them, releasing starches that turn  into sugar.

Anything  like this that you do to a food, such as grinding, pressing and even  chewing,  accelerates the rate at which the sugar is released into the  blood. It  increases the surface area of the food - making it easier to  absorb and  increasing the rate of digestion in the intestine.

Similarly,  eating an apple whole releases less sugar into the blood than apple  puree,  which in turn releases less sugar than drinking apple juice,  according to a  study in The Lancet.

When  cooking a food such as potato, the heat and the amount of water used  also have  significant effects on the amount of sugar released, the same  Lancet study  found. The more a starch-containing food such as potato is  heated, loaded with  water and mashed up, the more easily it will be  digested, releasing its sugar  into the small intestine.

And the less manipulated  or refined a food product is, the less sugar is  released when it is digested.  So baking or frying a potato means it will release less sugar than if mashed. 

Add  water when you fry

Most  of us cook with oil, but over heating can break down cooking oils,  producing  toxic chemicals called lipid peroxides. When eaten, they can  react with  proteins and DNA - your cells' genetic blueprint - in ways  that are believed to  increase the risk of cancer and heart disease.

Olive  oil, particularly extra virgin oil, is best used as a salad dressing  and not in  cooking, because it starts to burn at a comparatively low  temperature and  therefore breaks down easily.

When  frying, a good tip is to emulate the Chinese and add a small amount of  water to  the wok or frying pan. This lower s the f r ying temperature of the oil to 100c  and reduces the amount of oxidative damage to the fat  which normally  occurs

As  many as 75 per cent of us may be chronically dehydrated, according to U.S.  research.

This  not only affects our waistlines, but our backs, too. Preliminary research  suggests that drinking eight to ten glasses of water a day could significantly  ease back and joint pain for up to 80 per cent of sufferers. This is because  being dehydrated makes the blood and joint fluids thicker; it also causes  crystals of uric acid (a bodily waste substance normally removed in urine) to  form in the joints, which can cause gout-like pain.

Drinking  water is also a valuable and painless aid to weight loss. Even a mild state of  dehydration will slow our metabolic rate by as much as 3 per cent and may play a  role in weight gain.

And  every drop of water consumed involves calories being used as the kidneys work to  remove the excess water from our bodies. Moreover, drinking water shortly before  bedtime has been found to prevent midnight feelings of hunger for nearly 100 per  cent of people who were tested, according to Washington University cardiologist,  Dr Stephen Sinatra, in his book Optimum Health.

Drinking  five glasses of water daily can reduce our risk of colon cancer by 92 per cent,  according to a study in the International Journal of Cancer in 1999. Good  hydration lubricates our bowels and causes them to move faster.

This  reduces the amount of time that potentially carcinogenic waste products stay in  our colon. The same amount of water has been suggested to cut the risk of  bladder cancer by 49 per cent, and of breast cancer development by almost 80 per  cent.

Good  hydration increases blood flow through the liver, helping the body to remove  potential carcinogens, which is why it is believed to reduce the risk of bladder  and breast cancer.

Why you should beware of tofu

Vegetarians  who consume tofu and bean curd as a total substitute for meat put themselves at  risk of mineral deficiencies because they usually ignore a simple lesson on the  way these foods are eaten in Japan.

These  products are made from soy beans high in a substance called phytic acid. This  can block absorption of essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, copper,  iron and especially zinc.

Many  scientists agree that diets high in phytates derived from soy have contributed  to widespread mineral deficiencies in Third World countries, even in areas where  minerals are not in short supply.

The  Japanese avoid this problem by eating tofu alongside soy bean products such as  miso (a thick paste used for sauces and spreads) and natto (a strong-smelling,  sticky bean product), which have been fermented with strains of the bacterium  Bacillus subtilis. These bacteria lower the phytic acid content of these foods. 

Some  vegetarians tend to get protein from processed sources such as vegetarian  sausages, burgers and other textured protein foods.

Any  processed foods labelled as containing vegetable oil will invariably contain  partially hydrogenated fats - and traces of transfats - and should be avoided  because studies have shown that they increase the risk of diabetes, heart  disease and cancer.

Eat like a Masai tribesman

For  a long time we've been told that too much fat - particularly saturated fat - is  bad for health. As a result, many people have tried to reduce the amount they  eat.

This  has led to a rise in the consumption of refined carbohydrates, such as white  rice, pasta and bread, which can be linked to a sharp rise in obesity -  primarily because refined carbs leave us wanting more.

Fat  is better at making us feel full - and feel full for longer.

We  respond to low-fat regimens by modifying our diets to eat the amount of calories  that make us feel satisfied and which will support our daily energy  requirements. Thanks to the low-fat diet myth, we have all gradually increased  our intake of carbohydrates to replace the energy lost from consuming less fat. 

Furthermore,  meals high in fat promote the release of the hormone glucagon from the pancreas.  Glucagon promotes the breaking down of body fat for several hours after a meal  is eaten. This benefits those wishing to slim.

Many  human populations eat large amounts of fat and remain perfectly healthy. East  African tribes such as the Masai and the Samburus consume up to 400g of animal  fat daily. In Britain, 60g a day is thought healthy.

The  tribespeople show low cholesterol levels and an absence of heart disease. When  populations of such people migrate to other areas where refined foods high in  carbohydrates are consumed, their levels of so-called 'bad' LDL cholesterol  rise.

Our  bodies have only a limited capacity to deal with high levels of fructose - the  fruit sugar found in fruit juices and smoothies, and in high-fructose corn  syrup, used as a sweetener in store-bought biscuits, cakes, ice creams and  drinks.

That's  because it sneaks past the insulin system.

High  intake of fructose bypasses the body's normal processes of controlling the  amount of sugar in the bloodstream - the body produces the hormone insulin to  use or store the glucose it gets from food. But high levels of fructose don't  stimulate the body to produce insulin and hormones that suppress appetite.

As  a result, fatty substances can build up in the liver, causing them to become  enlarged and inefficient, leading ultimately to obesity and type 2  diabetes.

PS... The only diet tip you really need

Understanding  how to combat hunger is far more beneficial to slimming and a healthy diet than  calorie-counting. Hunger is effectively reduced by modifying your diet to  increase the digestion time - this is because the human digestive system has  evolved to efficiently and rapidly extract every available calorie from diets  that, in caveman times, were often poor in nutrients.

Our  digestions can't work so quickly with nutritious protein and fat. The feeling of  hunger following a meal high in protein and fat returns much more slowly than  with other diets because fat and protein are digested more slowly and remain in  the stomach for longer. Simple.

Urban sinkhole reveals lost memorial chapel to Pharaoh Mentuhotep II under Abydos’ streets

A CRACK in the wall. A growing pothole. Strange rumblings in the night. When a sinkhole in suburban Abydos collapsed, it opened a portal to a long-lost temple of the dead.

The Luxor Times reports that late in April this year a mysterious subsidence in a narrow suburban alley was drawn to the attention of city municipality workers.

The street had collapsed into a hole dug from inside one of the neighbouring houses.

Only once workers entered the pit did they realise the dig was by illegal looters — and that they had uncovered an ancient construction.

Egypt’s Tourism and Antiquities police were summoned, and the diggers arrested.

Egyptologists then set about examining exactly what lay beneath a suburb established in 1935, only some 150 metres from the renown Temple of Seti I.

After shoring up the entrance and tunnel roof with timbers, a short climb revealed wonderful things. First it was just rubble. Then archaeologists had to dodge a leaking sewage tank.

But a few metres beneath the street and the foundation of the houses were stained limestone blocks, marking the remains of an old wall.

Once the excavators pushed their way inside, they were greeted with the crowded sight of neat rows of ancient hieroglyphs and high reliefs — proudly declaring the memorial chapel as belonging to Nebhepetre Mentuhotep II — who reigned about 2046-1995BC.

Few artefacts and inscriptions dedicated to this pharaoh remain. Most are in and around Abydos, Aswan and Thebes.

Mentuhotep II reigned at a time of civil war in Egypt, continuing the fight against Lower-Egypt for 39 years of his reign.

His eventual victory saw him unify the two lands once again, and he was declared the first pharaoh of the Middle Kingdom.

His title means “Horus, he who invigorates the heart of the two lands”.

HELL’S GUARDIANS UNLEASHED: Excavations at the Temple of Pluto               

Archaeologists have since removed the sewage tank — leakage from which was eroding the stone inscriptions — and have begun restoring the room to prevent further damage.

Excavator Ayman Damarany told the Luxor Times: “I expect there would be more to the site and maybe other sites of the era either former or later to Mentuhotep II.”

Further excavation of the site is restricted due to the many occupied buildings above.
