Material needs and wants are fleeting. Of course, there are real needs, but the attitude towards these needs can be changed, so that there will neither be any self-pity for seemingly being short-changed, nor jealousy toward another.

Real freedom from needs and wants comes only by living in faith, knowing that you are a worthy child of an all-powerful Creator. Believe that He who created the heavens and gave all the stars their places and knows them by name, can equally well take care of you...+
