Every day is filled with many lessons and teachings, which are really gifts in disguise. Often, we resist these experiences at first, wishing something else were happening instead!

The learning process is easier if we can say to ourselves, "Life is giving me a gift right now. It's teaching me something about myself, something that I really want to learn. Look how much I've learned already. Look how far I've come. Now here's the next thing that I need to learn."

Sometimes, these experiences feel painful, but when we receive the healing in them, we can recognize and feel thankful for the gifts they bring.

What gifts am I receiving from the universe today?
What do I need to learn from them?
