Reject the Lisbon Treaty!
Previously, our headline campaign demanded that all citizens should immediately be given the opportunity to vote in referendums on the Lisbon Treaty. Thus far, over a quarter of a million people across Europe have signed our petitions. However, this has not been enough to prevent the interests behind the ‘Brussels EU’ from advancing their undemocratic plans for the Lisbon Treaty’s final ratification. Clearly, therefore, we need to adapt our demands.
From now on, so far as the Lisbon Treaty is concerned, the only appropriate response is to reject it outright and to call on everybody, politicians and people alike, throughout Europe, to do the same.

Why the Lisbon Treaty must be rejected
The 2008 U.S. presidential elections have demonstrated how important it is that the people have the right to terminate the rule of a regime that no longer represents their interests.
However, the Lisbon Treaty would exclude such a possibility for the people of Europe - for this and all future generations.
Moreover, the Lisbon Treaty opens up the governance of Europe to corporate interests and eliminates the basic principles of democracy.
In a Europe subjected to the Lisbon Treaty, at the European level there would be: no separation of constitutional powers; no possibility for the people to democratically elect their president as head of the executive level of government; and no possibility for the people to replace an executive level of government that has abused and reduced their human rights.
We reject such a Europe outright!
