Brutal Sharia Law now in place in Libya

Sharia law declaration raises concerns in new Libya

TRIPOLI — The announcement that Islamic sharia law will be the basis of legislation in newly liberated Libya has raised concerns, especially among women, despite Islamists insisting moderation will prevail.

Interim leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil said on Sunday, during his speech to the nation in Benghazi to formally declare the country's liberation from the ousted regime of Moammer Kadhafi, that sharia would be Libya's principal law.

"Any law that violates sharia is null and void legally," he said, citing as an example the law on marriage passed during the slain dictator's 42-year tenure that imposed restrictions on polygamy, which is permitted in Islam.

"The law of divorce and marriage... This law is contrary to sharia and it is stopped," Abdel Jalil said.

There will be no end to banking for profit in Libya. Now Libya's riches will go to the satanic reptilian Rothschild's who control/own Libya's new central bank. Did you know that there are only three countries left whose central banks are not owned by the Rothschilds, they are Cuba, Iran, and Nrth Korea.

The people have chosen Sharia Law in Libya, when did this happen ?  I think you mean it has been forced on them by vicious men with guns, backed by the C.I.A who are only there for the $$$

I'm not too surprised to find this here.

The world (read, the usual suspects) went to Libya 'to oust a brutal dictatorship and restore power to the people of Libya'. They've done that. The people have chosen the Sharia law.

What's next? Oust the brutal usurpers who dare to suggest another form of society than those of the countries that came to 'liberate' Libya? Where do you draw the line?

Mind you that one of the examples given by Mr. Jalil was the abolition of banking for profit, something which is not so heavily discussed, and which is also a part of Sharia. No surprise then that he is suddenly demonised.

The world went to Libya to 'liberate' it. It's free now. Whatever choices they make are their own. The world has nothing left to accomplish, lest they become the oppressors themselves.

If these actions were meant only to displace or remove Colonel Khadafi, then there is nothing left to do. If there was another agenda, however, I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Alea Iacta Est.
