Duality: A Necessity for 3rd dimension

Try to write a story without some kind of resistance and see how interesting it is to most readers. Even if the challenge is only trying to overcome one’s own limitations, as in the case of a mountain climber pitted against a mountain, this is enough to keep the reader turning the pages to see what happens next.
